This is the worst designed Chipotle I've ever seen.
I've tried this place three times. When it opened, my order was wrong. The second time, it was fine. But let's talk about last night, the third and final time.
Chipotle teamed up with a local school for a promotion. Enter a promo code, and a % goes to the school. Sounds cool.
Here's the problem: This Chipotle is not built for bulk orders or events like this. The parking lot is horribly designed. Find parking? Great, hope you like it there because the second the mobile pickup line is full, you aren't going anywhere.
Myself, my 1yr old son, and about 6 other people went inside to grab our order because we knew it was impossible to make it through the mobile pick up line.
Each of us, separately, spoke to the young lady that was ringing people out. She told each of us that our food wasn't ready yet. And then we all tried to be as patient as we could.
My order pickup was scheduled for 5:20. From then to 6:10pm, we watch people come in, order food, and leave. We ask a few times, and keep getting told our food isn't ready. But there's zero communication in the staff. The back of the house and the front of the house aren't talking to each other what-so-ever. So we keep asking, and keep getting told it's not ready yet.
At 6:10pm, we finally get the young lady's attention again. When another guest gave the name of his order, she responded, "Oh! Your order came up a while ago."
All of us just stared at her.
She went back, and lo and behold, all of our food had been sitting there.
"Well it was marked for mobile pickup" she says to us. "I'm in the front and I don't have any control over what the back is doing."
...un-freaking-real.
That was literally the first things we told her when we got there. Who we were, and that they were mobile pickups but the parking lot was insane so we came inside to pick them up.
Not only, did you upset a ton of customers, but there was also a car crash in the drive thru because of how horribly organized the area is. Got home an hour later than I had planned on, with everyone's food cold.
I wanted this Chipotle to be successful, but it's just not built in a way that will allow that to happen.
Go anywhere...
Read moreWe heard the one in Belden has gone downhill so we tried the one closest to us on Market. The first thing we saw when we walked in was how messy the counter was. Rice everywhere except where the rice bins are. They were obviously too busy at 830PM for cleanliness to be a priority. There was so much of a mess and sloppy that it looked like different meats got dropped in different bins as the building was happening and no effort to clean it up. I love brown rice but there was so much white rice in the brown rice that I can’t taste the difference. I did not get pics of the mess but I am sure if you review the camera footage you can plainly see the same things we did. Our bowls were barely filled with ingredients that you could’ve swore there was a food shortage. This is the smallest bowl I have ever received. My wife’s was even worse. Cannot forget the bay leaf I found in my bowl. Thank God I didn’t just chew that up...
Read moreIs anyone else wondering why Chipotle would extend their hours just to be out of most staple items for your bowl at 7:45?
We also work in hospitality, so when you get Chipotle once a week, I was pretty pumped when they extended their hours.
But this location is an absolute waste of your time. They are out of something EVERY DAY. Once in a while things happen, your run out, maybe you can’t get the product, maybe the day was insanely busy….it’s okay things happen.
Not as this location. Last night we walk in 7:45….just so you know we are out of white rice and pico. HOW. Make more rice, it’s insulting more than anything. Last time we walked in…just so you know we are out of chicken, corn salsa, cheese. The time before that…just so you know we are out of 5 different things and then they laugh….
So done trying to get food from here. Don’t waste your time drive to a...
