El Dorado Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Ohio

Came with a party of six for a late lunch. Seating doesn't appear to accommodate groups much larger than that. Was quickly seated and our drink orders were taken quickly. Return service for our food order was a bit longer than expected, but we only saw one person waiting tables with the establishment at about 1/3 capacity.

Food was served relatively fast, and all parties at once, but was lukewarm. The fare was typical, but nothing exciting. After we were served food service was non-existent. We continued to wait after our meal for a dessert menu and to-go box, but none was forthcoming. We eventually was able to flag down someone to place a dessert order and request the box and check.

The desserts were served fast, but we regretted ordering as they seemed like they had came from a package and had corn flakes dumped on them. The box never materialized. We paid and left.

I would have to say I remember when it was a new restaurant in town. I always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Tonight the food was good but our waitress Molly could've done better. It seemed like she was all over the place. Seemed confused. But I will say there was a guy that was urgent of putting our tables together so we could all come together as a family. He was nice. I just think being a waitress busy or not you need to be attentive to your customers. I mean we are the ones who keep your lights on and...

What a hidden gem! We decided to try El Dorado since we always pass by and always comment on how good it smells. Well it is a hidden gem! The salsa is perfect. Not too spicy right up front. Rather the heat builds. I am not one for spicy food but this is my second favorite salsa! We were greeted within minutes. Checked on often. We ordered the kids quesadilla with rice.
