They were out of everything we asked for and it took forever at the drive-thru to get help from the start. We even had to ask them to turn on the menu light (they never did during the 32 minutes we were there)since it was too dark to read. We were also up-charged for a two piece (supposed to be leg and thigh) but got a leg and breast since they were out of thighs. Why should I pay extra when they did not have what we requested. The two piece snack is also supposed to come with a biscuit. Surprise! They were out of them, too. When we finally had the order handed to us. I asked if there was honey (I requested honey and extra napkins when I placed the order), napkins and my son's fried pickles. The manager asked the girl that supposedly packed it and she just shrugged her shoulders with indifference. (She needs re-trained to at least not let the customer see her snotty reply). Needless to say, there were no napkins, no honey nor the paid-for order of fried pickles. When we finally got to our destination and pulled out our dinners-- that had to be the scrawniest chicken in the barnyard! I have seen Cornish hens with more meat. The legs had to have been sitting under the heat lamp for hours. They were all shriveled and dried out and the breast looked to have chunks missing. We had been to this location one other time and were horribly disappointed. We wanted to give the benefit of the doubt thinking it was just a bad day. We will not give them a third time to rip us off ruin our dinners. There had to be at least ten cars pull from the drive-thru (without ordering or without waiting at the window)and leave. I wish we had done the same. I gave this place one star because it will not register any less--though it is...
Read moreI'm one to make comments and reviews quite often in very well respected rep. considered I went to this freaking place a week ago, I got livers down to a science along with a lot of other food that I order I eat out often I have flavor I have taste buds I have character this place sold me f* spoiled rotten God damn chicken livers that made me sick to my stomach for 3 days and then manager have the absolute worst f* attitude talk to me like I'm some f* drug addicts or something desperate for food hey Lee's Famous Recipe recognize you take your f* job seriously talk to me like I'm f** or try to get a free meal. I give accurate realistic reviews followed by many because I'm real good bad or indifferent apparently the idiot that runs this place doesn't have the decency to check reviews and make a response but then again he works at least famous recipe bet your ass will never go back to that location again And I will apologize to the reviewing public for the f-bombs but these people definitely rub me the wrong way and push the wrong buttons and that acted accordingly but then I guess it goes with the location the type of food fast food and the type of people they probably get in there cancer considering its North Dixie...
Read moreI ordered and paid for my food. When they handed the bag out I looked in the box and could see the food was old. The biscuits were hard as a rock and burnt. I asked for biscuits that weren't old. The man basically threw them at me. (Why are you mad at me that you gave me old food) so I honked the horn and the GM came to the window and I asked for a refund and handed her the bag. She asked why. I said because the food is old and he has an attitude and basically threw the biscuits at me. She proceeds to tell me I have an attitude and she wasn't giving me a refund and threw the whole bag of food through the window of my car and locked the window! I called the police because why is it okay for you to throw food at me. They did nothing and I did not receive my refund. The GM is very unprofessional and a disgrace to that company. They should be embarrassed to have her employed there. It's bad for business. I've been a GM for 7 yrs and have never served old food... and if someone is not happy I offer to remake the order or give a refund. Never have I thrown a bag of food at someone and Im a GM at Waffle House. I will be contacting corporate in...
