This was our third time going and definitely the last. I will first start off to let you know that our server was amazing, so she has nothing to do with this review, 5 STARS FOR HER:) We ordered filet mignon, mine medium and my husband ordered medium well with onions. When they came we had to swap because his was medium and mine medium well, no big deal. However the filet's were VERY chewy. We go out to eat a lot, and filet mignon is our go to, so we are very familiar with a good filet. I did not finish mine, my husband did because he tolerates tuff/chewy meat better than I. I told our server, just wanting to let her know. She empathized and said she just wanted to let her manager know, that they need to know this info that it is very helpful. The manager came over so we showed her the filets that we had to swap and told her that was fine. I informed her that the meat was very chewy and told her that we eat many filets so I just wanted her to know. She than picked up my knife and fork and began slicing my uneaten filet, (cutting the opposite way you slice, with the grain, not against the grain), and said, "that sliced very easy"!!!!!!!!!!!! REALLY, picking up my utensils and than saying that. She asked if I wanted another steak, I declined and reiterated that I just wanted her to know. She did deduct my filet from our bill, which that is not why I was telling her of my dismay, however now I am glad she did. As we left she was standing near the from door with 2 other employees, and normally everywhere we patronize, we always here, "have a nice evening", but none of the 3 said anything. I never write reviews but that manager handled this situation DISGRACEFUL and needs to know that all customers who make a complaint are not doing it for a free meal. This establishment is a bit pricey, so I thought for the price we were paying, I should expect a better cut meat, or at least be treated better by...
Read moreWe have been coming here for years. Normally my wife and I would do date night here. We decided to take our children here after some time away do to the pandemic. A LOT has changed. Very disappointing I must say. The restaurant still has its amazing atmosphere and service. But the food has just changed as far as quality and taste. This is an Italian restaurant... I came with intent to get what I always had/have.. fettuccine Alfredo.. with or without chicken. I have not seen till today an Italian restaurant with this not on the menu. I even asked the host. Nope not available. Very disappointing.. I get instead a shaved beef sandwich.. not good. Didn't even finish it.. my wife got the chicken parm.. she thought it was okay, but that she has had much better. My son got the spaghetti and meatballs. He did not care much for it and didn't eat the meatballs. Said frozen meatballs were better!! My one daughter seen nothing and instead got butter penne.. 3 bites was all she took. My 2 year old loved the chicken and fries. My 12year old got half a BLT. She seemed to enjoy it. I gave it a 3, because of the fairness of the family all together rather than just my meal. But I believe that we have decided to not go back here. The appetizers were the best part of the meal. Bacon/cheese fries, sampler(though the greens are no longer spicy and seem really plain) and the chicken ques. It's sad to see this place drop in quality as there is so much upside here. I wish the best of luck in rebounding. I would tell others to try at their risk. Unless you want fettuccine...
Read moreYesterday we hosted a team dinner for our staff of 20. I chose Stonebridge because their website says they’re open until 10 pm but the entire team felt completely rushed out and unwelcome. We left at 9:15. This is a group of grown adults. I would understand if we were acting out or being loud but we did neither. We’ve had these dinners at other restaurants and are normally treated wonderfully, even given free rounds of drinks but that was not the case this time. I’d like to mention that we all get drinks, apps, desserts, and each employee chooses their own entree. This was not a family style dinner. At first the servers were kind and accommodating, but after one round of drinks the service grew less than friendly and extremely slow. I was asked if I wanted a second sangria, then didn’t see our server until right before the food came. At that point six of us needed refills and when we asked we were told to hold on because they were about to serve our food. When we ordered dessert.. they put it in to-go containers for every single one of us... at a quarter to 9! The servers attitudes were absolutely horrible towards us even when they brought our huge bill. This was supposed to be a night to celebrate our team and the hard work they do, but the poor attitudes toward us definitely effected our team. So much that it’s still being talked about by my staff. We will...
