A grandma behind me had handed the girl making sandwiches her cell phone. The cell was then placed next to my sandwiches being made on the prep board. As she was handling the food and the cell phone with her plastic gloves. I brought to her attention that this was not sanitary and should not be happening. I then attempted to help her understand what she had done wrong and that I wasn't trying to be mean but that this was not acceptable. I could see the girl was visibly shakin and she then tried to justify her actions by saying the gloves touch the sauce containers which didn't make any sense. The grandma only then agreed that it was wrong and took back the phone. Grandma then started touching me on the arm and was all up in my space trying to apologize. I asked her to please stop touching me and to back away. I then asked the girl if she was offended by me saying something and she said yes as her tears started to fall. I said ok then I don't want any of it and I walked out. As a customer I did nothing wrong here and I do not appreciate the ignorance and responses I received by your employees when I called them out on there mistakes. You did not earn my business and i will not be coming back. Note: I then proceeded to the other Subway in town and my sandwiches were made perfectly, on a clean surface with clean gloves and without grandma touches...
Read moreCustomer service at this place is a nightmare. After waiting several minutes at the counter to be served I and the black guy behind me were told they would only take online orders. Then, when I placed an online order and came back in, I found that they were serving others from the counter. They didn't apologize in any way or address my online order in front of anyone else. I had to wait another 10 mins to get to the front of the line to be served. When I got to the counter again I told her that I'd placed my order online as told, but she didn't have it ready. I told her it was very bad service to make me wait behind the others that way and she complained about how I was treating her! She then refused to make the sub, wrote down her name for my report (which makes me think she doesn't believe they'll do anything about it) and then threatened to call the police when I asked for a voided receipt for the online order (since I wasn't going to get the sub). Read moreI used to love Subway ... 11:05 am on a Monday. No napkins given in bag. Tables were dirty. Restroom needed attention. No paper towels in there either. Quite loud with music to cover the loud drinks cooler and a/c. Not a very relaxing lunch.😩 Went to the restroom to wash my hands full of soap only to find out the water was turned off!!! AND NO paper towels.😡 Huge toilet paper rolls were stacked on the sink. 🤨Who does that during business hours? No sign on the door to indicate the water was off. Asked the associate if they were aware the water was off. Answer "yeah the guy has it turned off because he's working on it. Sorry about that", as she giggled. What has happened to customer service and pride in your work? I don't think putting money into an all new menu and new TV ads with "star athletes" was a good investment.
