Waffle House — Restaurant in Ohio

Horrible customer service. Kelsey and Olivia should not be working in a customer facing position. Olivia is patronizing, making the customer experience even worse. She's also dirty and thought it was ok to leave the counter dirty after taking the other customers dishes away. Kelsey likes to escalate situations after being questioned as to why other tables, 3 to exact, were served and left before you when you came in before them. She also blamed the other customers as to why their orders were taken before ours, stating she felt pressured and didn't know how to tell them they had to wait because they were intimidating. Intimidating how? Because they weren't white like her? It took from 2:00-3:30 to get our food, at which point my husband ordered and I ordered for my daughter and NOT myself, as I didn't want anything from this restaurant after the horrible and disrespectful service we received. And the cook says there are 5 other Waffle Houses so customer's can leave and go there instead. They also had no regards for dietary restrictions and added sausage to our vegetarian food. I highly doubt that was accidental. Please pull your cameras to see the treatment your customers...

This was my first time at a Waffle House--they DELIVERED. Take the front row seat closest to the action, you won't want to miss anything. The food was simply the best. I ordered the All-Star Special and found everything just bursting with flavor and the bulk of real food. Most diners do not fill me up because the food lacks substance. That was not the case here! We were helped by a wonderful lady, Linda. She took our order in a kind, efficient manner and made sure each and everything we ordered was how we wanted it. She even accommodated some of my odd requests regarding textures of food (I prefer them well done.) She made me feel like a friend that was just visiting her instead of a customer at a restaurant. I loved witnessing teams being trained, because it gave me a chance to notice the attention to detail that an establishment like this needs. This waffle house is set in a good area. I would feel good visiting at 3:30 in the morning again. The outside was clean and inviting. The inside of the restaurant was pretty clean, very little trash or filth laying around. The food was great as always. I ordered the all-star breakfast, waffle, eggs, toast, grits, and sausage, with a coffee. Was great as it always is. The price is unbeatable for the amount of food you get. The staff, I felt they did not want to be there and had no desire to take a new order. I sat at the counter next to the register, and the guy told me to wait for the female server because she was next to take an oder....then young lady come in after i was seated and waiting, and places an order to go at the register before I was waited on.
