Me and went to Hobby Lobby and it is great. It had everything that we needed. I just noticed that there aren't any guides to the aisles at Hobby Lobby. There also aren't any workers that you can find out on the floor to help you find what you need at Hobby Lobby. You're just kind of walking around the store moseying around looking for things that you need. I actually asked another customer who was shopping at Hobby Lobby if she knew where to find what I was looking for. She was able to point me in the right direction and I was able to locate what I needed. Hobby Lobby is very well stocked. Very clean...very beautiful inside. They almost have too much stuff in their store. It's almost overwhelming if you're new to Hobby Lobby. But I guess it's better to have more than not enough. I really like Hobby Lobby...a lot of cool stuff there to decorate your home and for projects and crafts and ideas... really nice. I just wish they would have more people working the floor in case shoppers need help finding what they need because the store seems a bit compact. It's a large store, there's so much stuff in there that it's easy to get lost and confused. Also they should have guides to their Isles to help find what's needed if they don't want to put people on the floor. Side note: Please do not make your African-American employees clean your store's floor while your Caucasian employees shoot the breeze when its slow. Time out for that...
Read moreI ordered rolls of fabric that I was told would be in the following week on Thursday and ready for pickup. The girl that helped me and made the raincheck out contacted their distribution center because I was needing quite a bit of fabric so she wanted to make sure it was in stock. I was told that it was. Come Thursday, I called the store to check on the order late morning. Was told by a manager that they have no idea and that it would take awhile to unload the truck and to find it. The manager took my name and number and said she would look into it and call me back a little later. Six hours later I called the store back because I didn't hear anything. The same manager was there and she said that the fabric didn't come in. They don't know why but they could call distribution in the morning. I asked for them to be called that day and they said they couldn't because they closed at 5pm. It was 540pm as we were talking. Manager was not helpful at all and when I asked her why they didn't call early because they knew I was waiting on an answer, they knew distribution closed at 5pm, the only response I received was "I don't know. The truck takes a long time to unload and the girl that helped you originally shouldn't have told you you can pick up on Thursday". I stressed to the manager that I needed the product for the next day and needed answers when I called in the morning and they decided...
Read moreI very much like the large selection of home decorating goods and crafts Hobby Lobby has in stock. Their stores are always well stocked with a wide variety of merchandise. There are three key consistent components of their customer service at Hobby Lobby stores that I do not like. 1.) Usually customers have a long wait of at least 5 to 10-minutes in line before reaching a cashier to make purchases. More employees are needed at cash registers, or at least have back up registers ready for an employee to be called up to work when needed. 2.) Returns are done at one cash register. Again, I have seen customers wait over ten minutes before the customer can begin their return transitions at the one cash register. At EVERY HOBBY LOBBY I have shopped at (in various states) each store provides for their customers the same inconsiderate, time wasting cashing out and return procedures. 3.)The signs that say 75% Off Clearance Merchandise are misleading and confusing. Signs in isle says, "75% off of price marked.". I find out at the register it is 75% off the ORIGINAL PRICE, NOT 75% OFF THE CURRENT MARKED DOWN PRICE. The consistent lack of customer consideration in these three important elements of customer service has hindered me many of times from shopping at Hobby...
