Bier Stube — Restaurant in Ohio

The live bands and dancing are the reasons I give Bier Stube 5 stars overall. The facility is average for cleanliness, the bar / wait staff are friendly and efficient, the bands are great, and the food / drinks are good. The facility is small for its popularity and does hit capacity on occasion. Arrive before the band starts to not wait in line and to get a place to sit. There is a seating area to wait outside until someone leaves, but it is not exactly temperature controlled, wind-free, or smoke-free. If you don't like crowds, be aware that the dance floor on occasion overflows into the seating and walking areas, and there are lots of people just standing around. Have patience with the bartenders who, when overly busy, may accidentally serve people out of order. They are doing their absolute best to help everyone. This may sound like a negative review, but it is intended to be constructive / useful information from someone who enjoys the Bier Stube. It is a popular place to go, and it says something that they can do a decent job handling at capacity /...

I've loved coming to this place for the past 4 years - always a wonderful time except recently, their regulars have become absolutely appalling.

The other night, a bunch of their regulars started hassling young women in the bathroom, knocking on the women's room's door, blocking their path to exit. On an individual level. Whenever a woman entered the bathroom by the pool tables, they would play this horrifying game. They were even shouting the N-word at a black lady who dared use the restroom.

What's worse? Because these were regulars, the bartenders told the women to leave quickly and did not address the real problem. One of the male bartenders even got in a girl's face and acted like she was the problem because she had to push one of the guys to physically exit the bathroom.

I am disgusted to the point of possible no return. If you can't keep your female patrons safe enough to even go to the bathroom, you should at least be incredibly apologetic and not aggressive. Hope these regulars...

Me and the wife had a really nice time at this bar on Sunday drinks were decent food specials were really good however we ordered 10 jumbo wings which were really nice, a little later the wife wanted 2 more wings being that they were 75 cents on Sunday, when I told the waiter whom was a taller Caucasian male with a knit hat on I informed him that we wanted to order three more wings, he insisted that we order at least four so I indicated we didn't want four The wife only wanted 2 wings and I wanted only 1, So we ended up ordering 4 as the waiter was about to leave us he told my wife that I was a weird M F for just ordering 3, So when the waiter returned with our food, I asked him why did he call me a weird M F he told me who orders such a small amount of wings I was expecting him to to be kind of apologetic, no instead I left the bar in a kind of controlled argument with that waiter, if this wasn't such a decent place we would never go back and if you decide to visit this bar just beware...
