Went there after lunch last week for ice cream and milkshakes, ice cream was good/average(didn’t try their milkshake, but was told it was good as well) Atmosphere was nice. Service was 50/50. I have a bone to pick with a lady that works there; on the shorter side maybe 5’4, brown hair, bangs, ponytail..didn’t catch her name as she wasn’t wearing a name tag… anyways, her attitude towards me was horrible, everything went smoothly(for the most part) until she asked me what I would like it in, cup or cone, I answered cone, she asked,”what kind of cone?” (This being my first time here, I had no idea what she was talking about…also I’ve never been asked that before) so I answered, “A regular waffle cone.” I guess she didn’t hear me clearly so with a slight attitude said “What!?” I spoke louder, “Just a regular cone, waffle cone.” She looked irritated and rudely said, “I don’t know what’s regular to you!!” And pointed at the different kinds of cones on the FAR wall, and said, “1,2,3, or 4? Which one!!” I answered, “2, I guess.” She said, “So a waffle cone?” I said yes. Thinking to myself, that’s exactly what I had told her what I wanted; a regular waffle cone. She just went the extra mile to be rude. If I am ever in the area again, I will never come back. Sorry.

This is a family-friendly establishment with high chairs for little ones. We enjoyed a scoop of chicken salad as well as the special of the day, chicken salad on a bed of mixed greens, topped with feta cheese, balsamic dressing, and served with toasted pita bread. You can also get a variety of sweet treats at the counter. Thank you for having us!

Brown Cow Sweetery is one of Okeechobee's treasures. My croissant breakfast sandwich was stuffed with thick, savory bacon and eggs cooked just right. Coffee was very good, too. Very friendly, quick service. Such a cozy, sophisticated country vibe here!

I have worked in reparing equipment in restaurants for over 20 years. From high end restaurants in Palm Beach, to hospital kitchens, private kitchens and even the kitchen at the Kennedy Space Center. Being in this industry I see everything the customers can't, what is in the kitchen. This kitchen is the cleanest I have ever seen, it is immaculate! Not only was everything organized neatly but there was no dirt, grease, food, not even dust. Nothing on top or behind the appliances, not even in cracks or crevices. I am very impressed! Because of my line of work I never eat in restaurants but after visiting this one, this is the ONLY one I will eat at. I am now a frequent customer and have enjoyed many delicious meals and coffee here. I recommend this place...

Coworkers and I had pre ordered for lunch, the woman on the phone stated it would be around a 30 min wait, which was totally fine with us. When we got there they were understaffed, once again we were patient. We had to pass out our own food, the woman prepping the food, Jackie I believe her name was; was throwing the knife on the prep table slamming bowls in frustration when we asked her to fix our orders that were not correct. Completely unprofessional and rude the entire time, even in front of the female owner. Needless to say, our company will not be having lunch here again which is a shame due to the food being great. Great food,...
