Ordered 2 slices w sausage, blk olives and mushrooms. What I received was 2 already cooked slices with the toppings put on top. The mushrooms were from a can (idc) butthey were not cooked. Like definitely not cooked. I called and spoke with Jenny (the manager, she answered the phone) and told her about the slices. She talked over me repeatedly saying they were put in the oven. I said maybe so but they weren't cooked and I can send her the photo I took or I can come down there but really I was wanting simply to let them know that's not cool and I was a first time customer. I wasn't worried about the cost of 2 slices of pizza but I did want to be a return customer because I have only heard rave reviews about the food. The food was meh but the attitude from the employee truly wasn't necessary. Again, I wasn't asking for a freebie or a refund. I won't spend my precious money there but only because of the managements bad , very unwelcoming, unprofessional attitude. She genuinely didn't seem to care at all to just be decent on a professional call. I have only made a few online reviews; all good. I believe accolades deserved should be given plus it helps the business. Ms Manager Jenny was so disrespectful that unfortunately I felt a negative review was the only way to maybe bring phone etiquette up to hopefully someone higher up than her. Read moreEven after last couple of attempts (that weren’t the greatest) we tried to make this place work for us. Because this place was always our family favorite for many years but has declined over the past few years. Service and mainly the pizza. We got a large cheese as we always did with wings. We noticed it has considerably shrunk to more of a medium-small. It used to overflow on the pan it comes in. Now has inches missing all around and is equivalent to maybe a tortilla in thickness. At best. They charge you for a 32oz drink, but drinks are served in 20oz cups. Don’t dare ask for a to-go cup you’ll be paying another $3+ for that. Lady manger/owner is not professional. To say the least. Made a huge scene over a simple question I asked. Lost a family of customers. But by the looks of it we are just a few of many, judging by the most recent reviews.
If you already had a bad experience here. Don’t think it will get better next time, it won’t. Trust the recent reviews from locals. They kept the name for the reason, to keep customers. But this is NOT the same business as this town once knew. All the consistent good reviews are from years ago when it was ran and operated by someone that knew what they were actually doing. We ordered XL pizza it came out burnt. Waiter said we will take it back if you don't want it. (Don’t put it on the table if it is not right) We tried it and sent it back. Our next pizza was a Large under cooked pizza that was slop. (Don’t put it on the table if it is not right) First thing was "this is a large" Waiter said no it is not it is XL. He came back said okay it is a large. We could not eat the second pizza it was like mush, asked to have it removed from the bill. Waiter said "go talk to the owner" wait I'm supposed to get up find the owner somewhere and discuss this! Neither Pizza was edible. The bill was confusing it said Amount due $8.56. (See attached) We had wine so we left a $20 and left without being able to eat dinner. The waiter came running out as did Mike. I explained the problem to the waiter. He said I was wrong, I gave him a ten more and asked to speak with Mike. It turns out now Mike was too busy to speak to me. He sent a lovely young lady to do his dirty work and smooth things over.
