Went at my usual time I like going - 3pm or so; why is that important? Quality even when they aren’t making food to fly out the door. They definitely provided that, ate the Chicken Fried Steak Sandwich Combo and Dinner, back at my place and boy was it still delicious even after transporting, not really equal to what you’d get at a Del Rancho but still pretty great. Fries were fantastic i’d say, potatoey yet still had a crunch. Everything but that was well seasoned, besides the very unusual fact they don’t season their fries but I won’t dock points for that. Steaks were cooked and seasoned to my liking but lacked a wow factor. Gentleman at the counter wasn’t terribly helpful with reccomendations so those are what I decided even tho burgers are in their name. During my visit, there was quite a couple of patient folks that knew they were getting good food for their wait. Worth another visit? For me, yes, only to explore what the burgers are like. Oh and also, I love supporting a small mom and pop/ wife and husband team like...

I wasn't going to comment. But some of the comments I've read are so untrue its funny. I step in here every Friday on my meal breaks and occasionally come in with the family on my days off. I've never gotten a messed up order the owner has ALWAYS taken his time to tell me what condiments will be on my sandwhich and ask "is that ok?" (if you like spicy i recommend the flaming ed, but the mushroom swiss is awesome too) the female cook is always polite when she hands me my order even makes sure to give more napkins than the male cook does (these burgers can be messy) but the male cook really takes pride in his work and i think his food is a slightly (very slightly) of a higher quality. The owner as has the whole staff never fails to thank me and as of late they take the time to address me by name. This is the kind of service that you cant get...

I asked my wife if she’d stop over at Big Ed’s to grab me a bite to eat, she of course told me yes. I asked her if she’d request getting me two little deals of ketchup in a cup as opposed to packets. Of course my wife gladly said yes …

It seems the former school principal turned co-entrepreneur refused my request for two cups of ketchup and told her their were packets and that they were just the same … ARE YOU KIDDING?! I wonder what THE REAL BIG ED’S WAS LIKE BACK IN ITS DAY?!? SURE AS HELL WOULD NOT REFUSE A PAYING CUSTOMER FOR A SIMPLE REQUEST! 🤬

These people don’t have the right mindset for business and how it works! Very sad … Up until this point, I’d nothing but good things to say but if I’m being honest … I MAKE A FAR BETTER HAMBURGER! Time to drive the stake through the heart of Big Ed’s #14 and put his memory and...

OMG Big Ed's never left OKC! We had no idea one still existed until we stumbled on it. The minute you walk in, you're back in the 70's at an original Big Ed's. The burgers and fries are just as you remember. Burgers are big, juicy and loaded with toppings. The fries are still exactly the same... freshly cut and fried and full of yummy goodness. While it's somewhat nostalgic for some, it was also full of 20 somethings who know good food when they see it. It was truly the best meal we've eaten in months! You're really missing out if you don't give them a try. The best burgers and fries in the city, and priced VERY reasonably. You can pay as much as you want on burgers at other restaurants but you won't find one any better.

Ordered at 11:15am Food came out st 11:31am There was no orders in front of us. I paid $9.55 for a double bacon chili cheese burger, fries and a water. The food tasted great! It was created well. Presentation: the place seemed relatively clean. No bad odors. Price: a little pricey for a burger, but I would buy it Again. Wait time: a tad slow, may not be a good option for people with 30 minute lunches. Quality of food: amazing. the burger tasted wonderful it looked as it was crafted with love. The fries were amazing! I would visit this place again. I wish they do military discount!
