Casa Perico Mexican Grille — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

I've eaten at the NW 63rd location many times and the food has always been good. The service you get is hit or miss, depending on who your server is. There is a wide variety of options on the menu and the prices are reasonable, though they've gone up over the years like everything else.

The only reason for the three stars is because on two occasions over a year apart I've ordered food delivery from this location, and both times my order was cancelled without explanation. Also, twice I've called the NW 63rd location - again, over a year in-between, and both times when the person answered and I said I wanted to place an order to pick up, I was put on hold and nobody ever came back on the line to take my order. This happened for the second time today. I kept the call open with the Hold music still playing while I drove to the restaurant, and then just placed my order at the counter and hung up the phone. This was a 16 minute time span, from the time I called until I got to the restaurant. WHY do they do that? And WHY do they cancel your order without providing an explanation?

I have ordered food delivery from the 122nd St. location and received it without issue. What is the problem at the NW 63rd location? They don't seem to have customer service or pleasant experiences as...

The food here is absolutely awful. $21 for 4 street tacos and rice and beans?? Chicken is not even seasoned. Taste boiled. I will never come here again. The lunch specials are $13. Honestly, we wouldn’t even of paid $6 for the lunch we received. Our total came out to $41 and we forced ourselves to eat 1/4 of our food. We took the steak tacos to go and gave it to our two dogs. They enjoyed it. Human food 1/5 - dog food 5/5. We are not even nearly full but didn’t have the funds to grab anything else. This was our one lunch a month and it was wasted on this restaurant. Tex-mex isn’t our thing but we have no idea what this would be considered. Taco Bell is seasoned better. It gets two stars just because the server was nice even though she got our stuff wrong. My bad re eview is not due to the food. It's the service. This is my favorite local Mexican restaurant. I believe they have the best salsa in town! But everyone we go in we get this awful waitress who ignores us, gives us dirty looks when she does look at us, never refills our drinks or cleaned off our table (prebussing) and I have to hurry up and get any service requests in before she rushes off to go stand and talk to another table instead of doing our job. She's a heavy set girl with gold or some type of metal in her teeth. She should be fired. Idk what her problem is, she didn't treat her other two tables like this.... Idk what we ever did to have her treat us like this. This was the second time we came in and she acted like this. IF we ever come back, I will refuse to have her as a server. I wish we had the gentlemen who always has a smile on his face instead of this hateful...
