This is the worst sonic I've ever been to, bar none. I ordered through the app at 4:11. The order was a burger and 2 drinks. The carhop brought my food out at 4:23, and instead of saying "is this the order for NAME" or reading the oder to me he hands me the recipet and goes "uh is this order for you?" Bruh? He brought out 1 drink and the burger. I immediately told him the second drink was missing, he apologized and said he'd bring it right out. He did not. At 4:35 I hit the red button, talked to the dude on the com told him what was going on and that I've been waiting, he apologized and said he would upgrade my drink for the inconvenience. I don't care about getting an upgrade, I just want my drink that I ordered. At 4:55 I still did not have my drink, I hit the red button again, they kept turning off the button, like the screen will say "red button activated" and then it would switch to "push the red button to start" , meanwhile I'm watching the first guy still delivering food to other cars. I finally get out and am like "dude I have to talk to your manager, I've been here for like 40 minutes now waiting on a drink" the guy was like "okay let me go get the manager" he goes on comes back out and says the manager will be out in a few minutes and asks what drink I was missing, I told him and he does "ooh you're who it's for its just sitting inside, hang on" fine. Except this is the first carhop I dealt with, like is this man high as hell and forgot our interaction? Like are we all pretending we have amnesia? EDIT: Just happened again. First trip back in a month and same situation. This time it caused an issue. One stall available, not working. Not knowing what stall I'm at I just entered a random number (like usual) and waited to see my order come out. When I see my order (she is correctly going to the wrong stall) I try to let her know that is my order, but she just looked at me, told me what stall I was in, and took my food back inside. No way to change the stall number in the app, so I just have to wait in 100 degree weather while my shake melts and the soda waters itself down. Finally resolved after I had to physically call and explain the situation. Put the numbers on the stalls in an analog way. The electronic way is not working. -cb
The employees need to be given the support needed to keep customers happy. Every time I arrive at this Sonic (NW 63rd and Meridian) it is a parking nightmare trying to find a stall with a working screen. It is so impractical to have to pull through the drive-thru and then pull back around to park and eat if you don't want to play whack-a-stall. If you order in the app, you just have to make up a stall number to check-in and hope they find you eventually. This creates conflict before the customer has even been able to lay eyes on a menu, or interact with an employee (who are all great here, btw).

Read moreI'm appalled at how bad this location is. Well, all Sonics are bad but this one is really bad. This is not the first time that I've gone in this place ordered something gone home and it's been messed up. Either it's not been cooked right missing items or just taste nasty. I go in tonight wait over 10 minutes to get three ice cream items. Manager hands it to me. I go home find out they're all messed up. There is no candy in them... one of them is missing about half the ice cream... No toppings... And I paid extra for more candy AND Fudge and Carmel. Does this look like it? What a bad experience. But that's every time. I only went here because my parents wanted to go here. I do not eat this kind of slop food but was having a cheat day and thought I'd get some ice cream with candy in it. For my once a month cheat day. And what happens I get screwed over by Sonic once again. Do not go to this place or any sonic. I've been a Sonic manager at more than one Sonic in this city and do not go to them. Trust me. I even worked at the corporate Sonic as well. Sonic is gone way downhill do not go to them anymore. They're only as good as the help. And they hire people that are still incarcerated in day release programs. So no wonder your food turns out like it does.
