Me and my mom dined at Outback Steakhouse today, and it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment we were seated, our waiter made sure we felt welcomed and well taken care of. She arrived promptly with her iPad and took our order with great diligence. We expressed our love for their signature bread and requested plenty of it. She delivered on that front, keeping us fully stocked with fresh, warm bread throughout our meal. Our drinks were also always fresh and never empty, thanks to her attentive service.

When our steaks arrived, my mom noticed that her steak wasn’t cooked the way she had hoped. She had specifically asked for it to be wood-fired, as she’s quite sensitive to strong seasonings. The wood-fire method usually results in some of the spices falling off, making it more palatable for her. Unfortunately, we were informed that they no longer offer the wood-fire cooking method. Despite this, the waiter and her manager went above and beyond to accommodate us. They quickly offered to make a new steak with lighter seasoning.

While we waited for the new steak, I continued to enjoy the original one, which was a high-quality cut despite the seasoning issue. When the new steak arrived, it came with a full complement of mashed potatoes and French fries. Everything was cooked to perfection. The new steak was exactly what we wanted, and we split it as we had originally intended, savoring every bite.

The mashed potatoes were creamy and flavorful, and the French fries were crispy and delicious. Our waiter then surprised us with a generous to-go drink, which was a full-sized beverage and a nice finishing touch to our meal.

Overall, our dining experience at Outback Steakhouse was exceptional. The service was top-notch, the food was delicious, and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant meal. Going forward, I’ll remember to request light seasoning to make sure everything comes out perfect. Ordered a 15 oz medium rare ribeye steak, and it was brought to me cold. The server said that they just took it off of the grill but I am a chef myself and I knew that was a lie. It was cold to the touch like it had been sitting there. Advise the supervisor that my steak in wholemeal was cold and could not eat it. So they had to cook my steak. I just went ahead and ate some of the brussel sprouts and loaded mashed potatoes cold. My husband was almost finished with his food so I did not want to have him sit and wait for me to eat so I waited for them to bring my steak out. It took them very fast to make it, when they brought it out to me it was rare instead of medium rare. The supervisor looked at my steak and tried to tell me that it looked medium rare to him. But out of all of the years that I have been cooking and preparing steaks I knew he did not know the difference between rare and medium rare. My steak was very rare. I just asked for a to-go box to put the rest of my food in because I couldn't finish eating it. Had to place it back in the oven when I got home but it did not taste well. The staff was friendly and gave you a warm welcome. The Waiter was very nice and prompt. I do not care too much about the food. I don't think that I will eat there again. The food was great when we finally received it. Our initial waitress was rude to my mother because she was busy and had a table of ten or more. She did stop by and inform us of the wait but never even took our drink orders. My mother, pregnant sister, my daughter and I came after church. We waited 20 minutes just to get our drink orders in and then requested a new waitress because of her attitude when my mother informed her of our wait to order drinks. Then we got Ashley, who was absolutely great. However, the food order came back incorrect, my mother ordered her steak meduim rare. My sister's food was burnt. Now we've waited almost an hour for incorrect food. My pregnant sister began to cry because she was starving at this point and her food was incorrectly cooked. My sister didn't even want a replacement after an hour or more of waiting for burnt food. The manager personally re-cooked my mother and sister's food. It came back great after an additional 20 minutes of waiting, when all we wanted to do was fellowship together after church, turned into a nightmare. Just cook at home, these restaurants in this area suck when it comes to customer service. Half of our family ate while the remaining waited for their orders to be cooked correctly....
