I have been on the hunt for some good a egusi stew A little over a year now.... This place has some very good egusi she makes this hot sauce stuff that you can put on the side because some people don't like spicy and it was so freaking flavorful. I'm going to ask for three next time I come. The jollof rice was very flavorful as well and moist it wasn't dry. I will definitely be coming back on top of that. The owner, I'm assuming because this is a food truck, was very nice and held a conversation with me the entire time she was making my food and was very educational about the African food culture and her whole vibe and just service in general was absolutely amazing. I hadn’t tried authentic African food before stopping by her food truck and I have to say I had no idea what I was missing out on, everything I’ve tried has been so good. I have dreams about the fufu with chicken, it falls off the bone it’s so tender and flavorful! My friend let me try her plantains and joffa rice and those too were amazing.
