Pho Lien Hoa 2 is definitely number 1 in our hearts. It's the reason, we have come to be obsessed with Vietnamese food. We come from out of town just to eat here. This is the place to try other types of Vietnamese food other than pho, which they have and is still a great place for it. They have such a variety of Vietnamese food that can satisfy whatever craving you have, and we recommend wholeheartedly that you try as much as you can.
The Bahn Xeo is one of our favorites on a hot day. It's a Vietnamese crepe with pork, shrimp, and bean sprouts that comes with lettuce wraps, mint for garnish, and a fish sauce mixture for dipping. You take a piece of the crepe and wrap it in lettuce, add some mint to it, dip it in the sauce, and enjoy the fresh flavors. It's such a colorful and flavorful dish, and it can fill you up without making you feel sluggish. It takes a little practice to eat because it can get messy, but it's sooo worth it.
The Bun Bo Hue and Bun Rieu are definitely our top picks if you want to try soups other than pho. They are flavor packed with so many delicious ingredients. They come with all the fixings, as well, for some added freshness. They are very well-rounded meals and a 10/10 must try.
The restaurant is always clean, and they keep their bathrooms very clean as well. It's a very comfortable atmosphere and the staff is always very nice and accommodating.
Pho Lien Hoa 2 is definitely the place to help familiarize yourself with Vietnamese cuisine. It's definitely shown us just how good Vietnamese food is beyond pho. It is also a very healthy option for those who are...
Read moreWOW WOW WOW. This place is fantastic!
We were seated immediately, food (P1 and P8) came out after about 5-7 minutes after ordering, and it was incredibly fresh and tasty. Huge portions, reasonable prices, and plenty of toppings (ask for the spicy chili oil)! My husband and I literally sat back in awe after finishing our meals (and I still had half my bowl to enjoy later).
An entire pot of jasmine tea was only $1 for me (extremely reasonable $1/person rate) and I asked for some rock sugar which I highly recommend. We also got the red bean sesame balls which were a banging deal at $3/four pieces and the perfect slightly sweet ending.
Service is a bit unconventional, you just have to get someone’s attention if you want something and there’s no free tap water. But if those things really bother you that much when you’re getting the best pho of your life for $12.50, go to Applebees and leave the soup to me.
This place deserves every single good review and none of the snark! Do yourself a favor and come for a bowl of pho on a cold day and amuse yourself by looking at the other places the negative Nancys have reviewed. 👀 the real ones know a real one when they see (and eat) it.
Well...
Read moreWe used to go to the original one and were glad that they opened this one, which was much more closer . The food is pretty good and reasonably priced. I like the shrimp and pork egg noodle soup and their beef pho. If you are here for the Vietnamese food when the craving hits and it is less work to cook, then this is pretty good to go. And the restaurant looks clean and bright.
The negative thing is that they charge for water bottle, which is fine, but most place we went, they at least offer a glass of water. Here, you have to buy the water bottle. They will give us a dirty look if we bring our own bottle of water in ( we happen to have cases of it in our car). Now they have these robot that delivers the food, so I don’t see the reason to tip. Service was just the server take the order and left. Only stop by on his way back and stop to ask if we need anything else. No offer to get us anything to drink. Poor service. Technically we don’t see a reason to tip. Maybe just $2...
