This is my first time coming. I came earlier and got myself a sandwich. I took a change on this place because I don’t usually like sandwiches. The first person to take my order she didn’t have a smile on her face and looked like she didn’t want to be there. Then she passed my sandwich on to someone else who had a better attitude and it showed through my sandwich. She did a great job with my sandwich and put everything I asked for on there and it was delicious.
I decided to come back later after picking my daughter up from school and decided to get her one as well and to get me one later for dinner. This time the ladies had reversed positions so the lady that looked like she didn’t want to be there was the one to make my sandwich this time and it definitely showed. I had the Turkey Avocado with added bacon and it’s supposed to have cucumbers and she didn’t put those on there. I also asked for hot peppers and extra oil which she didn’t put on there either. The sandwhich is so dry and doesn’t have any flavor. I didn’t even finish it. And she didn’t seem to smile or care what so ever and it just wasn’t a great experience.
If you don’t want to be there and you don’t like your job then do your customers a favor and don't be there. What a waste of $20. This is why I hate going out to eat these days. Customer service completely sucks and no one cares to hire people that care about their...
Read moreI have heard so much about Potbellys over the years, but don't live close enough to ever be on my radar. On a laid back Saturday, I got my change. I am a vegetarian, so I went to try a sandwich and and a couple of soups... service was a bit slow, they seemed to be a bit understaffed but handled it like champs with a smile. I ordered a "slim sandwich and a cup of soup" veggie melt and 2 soups (broccoli and cheddar and potato soup) I added a the extra soup for review purposes... About the food..... the Veggie Melt was a very tasty toasted sandwich and is worth me trying it again. Next time I will order a bigger sandwich.... the sandwich was good but the soups were not my fav.... the menu did not claim the soups were vegetarian, I made an error and asked the employee rather and looking up the ingredients. However the potatoes soup very fine pieces of meat in it so I could not eat it. The Broccoli and Cheddar has a consistency of a very Thick soup not quite creamy. It was very hot but the consistency reminded me of when cooled cream of chicken soup, just a little bit to thick for my liking. when you become a vegetarian your palate is sensitive to preservative flavors and the smallest amounts of meat which are not uncommon ingredients at national chain restaurant (IFYKYK). I would return for the sandwich and...
Read moreFirst visit and well it was ok. When we walked in we smelt something foul.. as the trashcan is right there maybe someone for got to empty it last night.
We took a minute to take in the menu and decide what we wanted.
We both went with the skinny sandwiches. My wife got the mushroom melt and I got the Turkey. Both of the sandwiches were very good and filling and the staff was helpful but you could tell they were a bit overwhelmed as they must have been a teammate down. Between the on line orders for pickup and a busy drive thru it took way to long to get a sandwich.
Back to that smell when we went up to fill our drinks clearly the drink station and the trash in combination is needing help.. both very messy and stinky. They must of been brewing tea as the cover was off... clearly health concern. But the cover was setting next to the straws.. could be contaminated.
Again the food very good. The wait was disappointing as we were the only ones eating in the place. One person was in picking up call in order and 2 cars were served before we got our food.
Inside needs some attention due to smells and cleanliness.
I think next time if there is a next time we would do...
