Pizzaland — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

I visited here last week. I decided then that I would never return. Atmosphere wise it was crowded with clutter. They do have a booth to sit in and a little table if you are interested in dining in. During my visit there was someone possibly homeless or knocked out because of drugs or alcohol sleeping in the booth. The place is swarmed with people who appear to be heavily on drugs to include the staff. I had just eaten so I decided to go with something small to get a feel of the place. I will warn you that the to go menus that are at the counter are outdated. Do not be under the belief that you can take a menu and get out of the way in case others need to order and receive an accurate assessment as to how much you are going to spend. I ended up placing an order for a hotdog and strawberry cheesecake. That came up to $7.80. Not too bad. Yet, with no one waiting in front of me I waited 25+ minutes to receive my order. My hotdog was wrapped in foil, heated, and topped with onions and mustard. Yet when I bit into it the complete underside was burnt. If I were not rushed for time i would have taken it back to be remade. The cheesecake is store bought. I saw him remove it from the freezer, struggle to open it, and cut it to remove a slice. All this and because my assumption is he was heavily on drugs; the guy did in fact forget that I had requested strawberry cheesecake and my slice was plain on top of that it was frozen solid. So I had to wait until it was thawed to eat it. If you are brave enough to visit this location. There is a possibility that your food will be burnt and take it from me the cheesecake is not worth ordering especially if in the moment you are trying to curve a sweet tooth. As I mentioned earlier. I will never go back. Not even to try their pizza. As I said this was a week ago so I did not get photos but I wish that my mindset had been on a review and I had gotten photos because it wasn’t a little burnt it was really burnt. Spent $52 and some change on food get it to the car. Checked my order.. calzone was burnt, my wings were missing and upon going into tell them.. I was missing my wings she pretended like they were there. I had brought in the food and showed her that I did not receive my wings. She pointed at the last box which was my medium pizza for my kids and I showed her that this was a cheese pizza that I had ordered then she walked back and realized that they had forgot to give me my wings as if I was a liar. Thing that bothered me the most was obviously somebody works there, has a kid hanging out up there. This kid took it upon himself to be very very rude to tell me that the door says pull while my hands were full of my food returning in to try to get my wings. I honestly threw out 3/4 of the food because it was not not good at all they take pizza dough and cut it in a big chunks and call that breadsticks. The spaghetti is very plain tasting. My son the spaghetti lover, declined to eat it. This didn't meet my expectations by far. Don't get me started on the fried mushrooms and mozzarella sticks.....

Pizzaland, the owners, and crews r always cordial n helpful. Nolan, works the day shift and makes the best Philly cheesesteak sandwich in town. Ms Beca, Tristan, Robert, work the night shift and cook the cheesy pepperoni bread sticks to perfection. The delivery driver is professional and always kind. They have a working system and never a constant turn over of employees, which says alot about the owners. They run a respectful pizza house, treat their employees like family n give back to the community. Plus the food is of good quality, always fresh, cooked just the way u like it. And they stay true to old school ways, u can call in orders and pay the delivery man cash when he brings ur order,on time and still warm. He is consistent n well deserving of a good tip. You can also order online on their site n bypass the 3td party delivery n their overpriced service fees. I give Pizzaland 5 stars plus. Thank you all for the good food, served with a side kindness.
