New Review - 4/19/2019 I went back....after saying I wouldn't, I went back. I've increased my rating to 3 stars and will go back. Maybe because my expectations were low or who knows, but the chicken strips were better than I'd ever had there. I didn't get the fries because...so I got a double cole-slaw and was very pleased with it. The easy-ice drink was exactly as ordered and as always, the staff was efficient and very friendly. If the food and service are as good the next time I go, I'll give 4 stars.
Old Review: They serve edible fried chicken strips. Also they have chicken strips with more chicken strips. For variety they have fries and slaw or slaw and fries ...your choice. However they have NO choice of sauce. No bbq sauce, no other sauce except their boring lame house sauce. If you want something completely forgettable that you've had dozens of times before with no variety AT ALL, this is your place. 2 stars because at least they have a very friendly staff.
(Edit 1/22/19): Returned today hoping they'd changed or gotten better. Nope. If anything it was worse. My "easy ice" - and yes they repeated it back to me..."easy ice" - drink was absolutely filled to the top with ice when I got home. I mean they had to do that on purpose. There is no way you would put that much ice in a cup on the hottest day in hell. I got 4 drinks of soda. Four. The fries may have also been soaking in the ice before they put them in the bag based on their temperature and consistency. I'm guessing they must have read my previous review and just been waiting to sabotage my order if I ever came in again. I won't write all this negative without adding positive. The store was very clean and the employees were very friendly again. The chicken strips weren't bad at all. They're juicy and the breading is pretty good, but the sauce just sucks. To whomever is in charge of their menu: I repeat, your sauce is absolutely horrible and for the love oxygen and any customers you can hang on to, please offer some alternative to that trash. I won't be back to one of these and find it hard...
Read moreIt was Sunday and I didn't want to cook for my grandchildren so, I asked them what they wanted to eat. Cane's, they replied so cane's it was. It was raining, but I was happy they had a drive through.... The addendants at the window were very polite and nice. They greeted me with a little saying and it was a good experience then. I received my order and was about to drive off...oh boy am I glad I didn't..they had forgot some of my order. The line was long, it took about 30 minutes, so I did not want to wait again so I got out of the car in the rain to get the rest of my $32.00...order. I was alittle upset because I got wet and I could not run becausei am 68, and not in the best of health...but I got the food without having to come back. However when I got home...we found that the chicken was burned, it smelled burned and it taste awfull. The kids did not want to eat it...so I called and spoke with a gentleman named Gabriel. He was kind and told me to come backed for a new order. Today...the next day I took what we couldn't eat back so they could smell it. One tall slender medium brown young man was so nice, he greeted me with a smile and I wanted to discreetly tell him my complaint. However we were interrupted in mid sentence by a young woman who was very rude. No excuse me...no thank you but I will handle her...she looked at me and in a loud voice said. What can I do for you. I told her I was talking to the young man, and she replied...what can I help you with. I said, I am confused who are you... long story short...I came for an order that Gabriel had told me to come and get. But, she was so rude, I told her to give me a full refund and she did. I told her I would call corporate to let them know how rude she was and her reply was do it 🤔🤫🫣 what is wrong with young people these days... I guess she didn't mind loosing a sale but I am sure they had alot of...
Read moreWell let start by saying I respect Cane’s their accomplishments going global started in Louisiana and now going to every state in the country... I have been to many Canes’s locations and the standards are always the same which I respect however this location in OKC is way below standard in my experience. I first get there and the cashier while I’m trying to order is laughing and talking to someone on the headset. Then I sit down the tables are dirty &disgusting and not one person is cleaning tables in the lobby area. The trash all full of stuff. Looks like they have not been changed or cleaned. The staff are just walking around and laughing… the fries were salty the lemonade was watered down and not to mention there were flies flying around as we are eating in the restaurant while I ate inside with my family trying to shoe away flies from my food. I don’t know maybe I was expecting the same standards as all the others in my experience on 7/24/22 @4:40pm. We arrived ate and left disappointed… I will give credit to the guy with a ponytail, the chef seen them moving in the back getting orders out. This place is needs to get up to “Cane’s Baton...
