I have been coming to this Sonic multiple times a week for about 3 years now. Mostly that is during the day and usually I receive good friendly service. I love to pay for my order with the Sonic app as it has saved me before when I’ve forgotten my wallet at home. I pay with the app at the stalls as well as in the drive thru. Usually I have to ask the worker in the drive thru for the drive thru code so I can pay with the app and they look and then tell it to me. No problems. Tonight I went around dinner time and used the drive thru. After given my total I asked for the code for the app. The girl working the window said if I wanted to pay with the app I have to order through the app. I said no, I pay this way every time I come here. She sends over the assistant manager on duty (Shawn). He tells me in a condescending tone that this Sonic doesn’t do that and they never have. I again stressed that I always come to THIS Sonic and do pay that way almost every time. He replied no, you have to pay with only card or cash here and he knows for a fact because he’s worked there for two years. I told him I would pay with my card since I had it as I was not going to sit there and go back and forth with him and let him know that I didn’t appreciate being made out to be a liar or a straight up moron as if I had no idea where I was from day to day. He said I could take it up with the actual manager in the morning and gave me his name (I plan to do that as well). I strongly urge you to choose a different location....unless you enjoy having to correct your order twice and having to send it back just to get it in ways worse than the last time. Perhaps double greasebsoaked semi-soggy tater tots are your jam. If so this is the place for you!! Like the person through the speaker to get an attitude with you because you have the audacity to ask for the correct thing to be provided? Come on down folks!! I specifically asked for a Jr cheeseburger deluxe with no ketchu, no tomatoes add mustard and mayo. Medium tator tots with cheese. I received a Jr cheeseburger with mustard, onions, pickles and KETCHUP. The cheese was still in slice form on the tots and tots were room temperature at best. At least those were crunchy though, the replacement ones were so soaked in grease and barely had any cheese on them (yet the girl said "we stood there and watched them make them to make sure they were served correctly" as she handed them to me). Supervised and still not acceptable. In case you had any doubts in your mind...... No, I will not be returning to this store. DO BETTER PEOPLE!! Read moreAfter frequenting this Sonic for a while, I think today was the last. I’d recommend taking the few extra minutes to go to any other Sonic nearby rather than stopping at this one. Carhops often seem annoyed. Orders take forever (I’ve waited upwards of ten minutes for one drink). 50/50 chance you’ll get the sauce you ordered. Don’t expect any modifications on your order to be present. I ordered two sandwiches, a jr chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger. I asked for no tomato on the burger. Upon opening both sandwiches, I found that not only did the burger still have tomatoes, but they also put tomatoes on the chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwhich doesn’t even come with tomatoes, so I have no doubt that it was intentional. And the most egregious of all, be wary if you’re paying in cash.
