Last Saturday morning, May 27, I visited this store traveling back to California. There was a long line waiting to order so I decided to place a mobile order which I did, but immediately realized I made a mistake and ordered at a Starbucks I previously visited during my stay in Oklahoma.
I called the store and they told me they got my order but couldn't cancel it. I was then told to show my receipt and the Starbucks there at the airport would fill it.
I waited nearly 30 minutes in line to be told that they wouldn't do it and that essentially it was my loss. Frustrated, I asked them to fill the order anyway. The person at the counter thought I was insisting they give me my order, but I was not. I wanted a new order.
The manager stepped in and rudely told me that she didn't like the way I was talking to her team member, which frustrated me more. After getting nowhere with them, I uttered a few choice words and left. I found what I wanted from another coffee vendor.
I called customer service and they resolved my issue by giving me a refund. Neither store suggested that I could do that, but I found out on my own.
The manager at the airport store appears to be ill-informed and acted unprofessional in my opinion. She has a lot to learn about customer service.
It would be nice to get a response from the owner on this. An apology would be nice. I will continue to frequent my local Starbucks, but I will never visit this particular Starbucks again. Ignoring my review is adding insult to injury.

Read moreI enjoyed the experience until I checked my bank account yesterday. I was there on Thursday the 28th between 8:00 and 9:00AM and there were 2 workers. I ordered a venti iced chai latte with a pump of brown sugar and vanilla that is usually a little over $7 and ordered my mom a grande Carmel brûlée latte. Then I ordered myself a sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit and she got some pesto mozzarella sandwich. The girl said the total was like $27 and some change but I did not get a receipt. Well looking at my bank account I was charged $41.78!! I have bought 2 drinks and 2 sandwiches several times before and it has NEVER been that much. I didn’t pay attention to a name tag on the employee because right away she started saying how she loved my loungefly backpack and we discussed that and her liking my nail polish. I was distracted because of the convo and didn’t even realize I didn’t get a receipt but have never had an issue at Starbucks before so I’m shocked this happened. She was younger and had light brown hair and glasses, I think. I just know she said she wanted the Baymax with cherry blossoms loungefly backpack. I don’t know if there’s a way to check your receipts from between that time with those 4 items and see if she added more items or maybe if she gave herself about a $15 tip. "Sorry we're out" Wife asked for a cheese danish instead "sorry we're out of that too" Awesome, third time was the charm and they had a lemon loaf. When I was about to order, I asked the staff member "maybe you should take them out of the window if you're out?" Met with a silent stare. Ok cool, ordered a croissant instead (because they were out of banana loafs). Trash was completely full, and the basket with sleeves was empty at the to-go counter. Proceeded to watch the manager walk around looking at things and doing absolutely NOTHING. The manager even went and pushed the trash DOWN so the debris wasn't popping out of the top.
