Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Tropical Smoothie is the perfect meal before flying. Light, but filling. The last 2 times I have left out of OKC airport they were closed or closing. Both times were between 6 and 630pm. I got there just in time for their smoothie only menu, but had to go elsewhere to get food. Then as I sat near restaurant for the next 30 minutes, as the staff cleaned up, at least 10 more people walked up to attempt to order. They didn't even get a smoothie. The airport was not the most busy I've seen it, but there were many people milling around. Why be 1 of 3 restaurants and close before dinner time ends?!? And why put all chairs up?! Terrible service. I ordered a mango smoothie. When the smoothie was poured into its cup, I noticed there were still some leftover of the smoothie. So, I asked them if I could have the rest of the smoothie to not waste food. Then this other lady came in and said “you can’t have it it’s a company rule.” All I wanted to do is not waste food because the smoothie would’ve gone in the trash. Love Tropical Smoothie!! So glad they had one here at the airport. It was my birthday and I wanted to cash in my birthday reward for a free smoothie but the gal said “they don’t accept the app”. Disappointed but they still made me my favorite smoothie. They do offer a military discount.
