Taqueria El Rincón — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

I have been coming here for nearly three years and rejoice when I can come by! The food is delicious, and prices are going up from the last time I have been here. However, this review is for how I’ll never be coming back. I am a very picky eater and have ordered the same #1 order each time I come (regardless if I get something else). This last time, it was just the man’s attitude when I acknowledged that my order had onions (both orders). He proceeds to show me what he wrote down and says, “Here’s your order,” and clearly (to him) taking off onions wasn’t written down. I don’t know what the scribbles and the abbreviations stood for, but I know (my perspective). This is where I SHOULD HAVE gotten active 😒 I clearly said no onions on my order 😡 I told him have a good night, and as I walked to my car just put my $15 sample of food on the ground. I always get the #1 (2 Lengua/cow tongue, 2 Cabeza/Cheek & 1 Pollo/Chicken) all w/ cheese for $7 and it's worth every penny! The meat is always tender and juicy and well-seasoned. They also garnish this dish with a slightly spicy pickled or roasted carrot slices. I always ask for extra carrots cuz they are delicious! I came home to visit and wanted some good tacos or burritos.. my sister told me about this place and I was not disappointed at all.. Food was reasonably priced, service was very friendly and very fast. We sat in the parking lot and ate our food and the cars just kept pulling in. I had an Asada burrito and some Elote.
