We walked into this store excited to browse, but unfortunately had a very negative experience. Within five seconds of entering—while holding our 7-month-old and with our 2-year-old quietly walking between us with his tablet—the owner immediately stopped us and told us we needed to carry our toddler because of the breakables. I reassured her that if he broke anything, we would purchase it, but she responded that the items were “one of a kind” and preferred that nothing be touched.
Our toddler never touched a single item, yet we were watched and followed through the store as if we were a problem. When we got to the toy area, we allowed him to touch a basket of blocks (that we were considering purchasing)- he picked up a small ping-pong ball out of the basket. She came over, stated that it didn’t belong to anything in that area and asked for it back. We asked our toddler for the ball, he happily handed it over and then she stated “now he’s probably going to throw a fit”. Our son was calm, quiet, and well-behaved the entire time.
The sad part is, we had every intention of purchasing furniture—we saw several pieces we liked—but due to the treatment we received, we will not be giving her our business.
There are SEVERAL other antique stores in OKC that have never treated our kids...
Read moreI had a very negative experience at this antique mall and feel compelled to warn others before visiting. The owner was shockingly rude and disrespectful during my visit. What’s worse, they were dishonest about previous interactions and completely misrepresented what had actually happened. Instead of addressing concerns professionally, they chose to be confrontational and dismissive.
Aside from the unacceptable behavior, the items in the store are significantly overpriced—far beyond what you'd find at other antique shops or online for similar pieces. While the selection might seem interesting at first glance, the atmosphere quickly sours due to the owner's attitude and lack of integrity.
I strongly advise looking elsewhere if you're searching for antiques. There are plenty of other shops where you'll be treated with respect and offered fair prices. Save your time, money, and energy—this place is...
Read moreLots and lots of things to see, all packed in, at EXTREMELY high prices. NOT kid friendly - my 8-year old son and I were literally stopped at the door and lectured by the proprietor about how we should "look with our eyes, not with our hands." There was lots of breakable stuff in the store, but I've never had a proprietor literally deliver a lecture at the door. Not only that, the proprietor hovered around while we were in the store and continued giving reminders. We did not feel comfortable, or welcome. Very uncomfortable...
