Only leaving a review for the sake of trying to get a general manager or owner's attention.
We found Yonutz on Google and decided to try it out as a dessert option after dinner for our last night of our girls trip. We got there and there were a few people already there at the tables. We were greeted and explained the whole yonutz concept and flavor options. After all 5 of us ordered (4 ice cream only scoops with one in a waffle cone, and a cookie butter yonut) we sat down.
Very quickly thereafter, about 5 more groups of customers walked in as well as a couple people who were picking up door dash orders. The team of people working consisted of one manager and 2 new hires from our perspective, overheard conversations, and the questions being asked. They quickly got overwhelmed with all the orders and things started to fail at this point. After about 20 minutes, they called our name for our yonut, but we were still missing 4 ice creams. At that point the manager tells us that the flat iron for the waffle cone is warming up. We decided to skip the cone and just get the ice cream. It took an additional 10 minutes to get our ice cream. The ice cream itself was pretty dang good.
All during this whole time, there were 2 door dash drivers waiting on orders that were getting frustrated and impatient.
The manager was trying to keep everyone on task, still take orders, and get the backlog of orders taken care of as quickly as possible while still being friendly and customer service based.
The whole issue felt like a leadership standpoint from a general manager. It felt like someone screwed up by only scheduling 3 people on a Saturday night and 2 of them were potentially new hires. The manager was doing everything she could to stay on top of things without losing quality of the yonutz product. That girl deserves a raise. And you should probably hire some...
Read moreHello Management,
This has occurred 2 times I've been present, I can see the positive reviews so I can assume their method is working. This morning, two girls could be heard peer pressuring people into leaving them 5 star reviews, the same situation was in occurrence last night when I was present. People repeatedly looked uncomfortable with their asking, and did not receive the service that is expected with a 5 star review.
These students could also be heard having loud conversations, cussing, and had inappropriate music playing constantly.
10/17/25: I walked in and was met with a one woman army named Czariah!! She was such a good help and a kind soul, very respectful. I thought she was working alone until I heard two people in the back giggling before she told them to hush because there were people inside. The store was shining when I walked in and the case was finally clean for once. Her music choices were also very different from my other visits, she visibly winced when a curse word came on and apologized to me and my grandson. This was previously a 1 star review but I have to change it. Props to...
Read moreIf I could give no stars I would, because we did not get to try the food and it was made very clear that our business was not wanted. Came in after my son’s concert to get a treat, never tried this place before and thought it would be something different. When we walked in the two workers were in the back, which is totally cool it is a slow night. When the young man came up I smiled and told him it was our first time. He rolled his eyes, sucked his gums, and muttered under his breath something about us being there. I said I get the sense that us being here has bothered you so we will just go somewhere else. We came 2 hours before closing, I could understand being annoyed with someone coming even 30 minutes before closing, so I am unsure what we did in the less than 2 minutes we were there to warrant such negative reaction. The young man who was in the green shirt working on September 30, 2025, the owner or management should really check his attitude because I do not plan on coming back and will not recommend...
