Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Olathe

Hello Texas Chicken,

I feel like you make the best chicken in Kansas Overland Park! The wings feel so juicy to eat.

I suspect that you are injecting some sort of ingredient to chicken to make it taste so yummy!

It’s an addictive food item, but make sure you make it healthy. I know you do it.

Well initially I ate chicken in n number of places but Church’s chicken I got a chance to eat very less, but one fine evening we are craving for something different but we are sure that we need a yummy chicken that’s where Texas chicken came into the picture.

Initially, we ordered from Uber Eats, which is a scam because only few items are charged more than $20.

— We ordered chicken breast and wings.

They were so crunchy and yummy 😋, but a little oily on the top.

Next on a fine afternoon, we feel like let’s go to Texas chicken nearby and order there.

Luckily the place is very close to my house. We went there and we got so much food for just $20.

— We tried fish as well as chicken wings.

Chicken wings are same like the previous order from Uber Eats but fish is kind of oily, and it has more batter instead of fish.

But on the final note, you can surely try it, Texas chicken for sure because it will make you addictive for sure.

I placed my order online for pick up, it said it would be ready at 11:30. I arrived at church’s at 11:35, I get to the drive thru speaker and I ask on the status on my order. This girl groans into the mic like shes been holding it in for hours. She tells me to come back in 10 minutes. Keep in mind it is a large order, but I ordered before hand and I understood that it would take longer. So I wait in the parking lot for 10 minutes. 10 minutes go by it’s 11:45. I drive back to the drive thru and I ask again the status of my order. Assuming by the tone and aggression in her voice when she told me to pull up to the window, I knew that she was not particularly happy for whatever reason that may be, because I know damn well I did nothing but wait for my chicken that was supposed to be ready minutes ago. I say thank you and pull up behind the car in front of me. I can see from the window that the girl is glaring at me while I wait behind this car, why is she glaring at me? That’s a great question I have no idea. I pull up to the window, no greeting no nothing. I wait for at-least another 5 minutes before she opens the window and shoves the huge bags into my window. She doesn’t say anything mind you. Once she hands me the second bags I hear the window shut. Wow. I didn’t even get to express my sincere gratitude to this poor employee who had to bag my chicken. I’m sorry to this employee that was for some reason offended by my churches order. Maybe it was my name? Or maybe they just didn’t feel like frying more chicken? I guess we...

Well, I ordered my food, in person, at the restaurant. After, the woman took my order I paid for all of yge items I requested. Once I arrived at the place we were to ear it was discovered that the sides were not in the bag. I called and spoke with Gabby, who had taken my order and she said that if I returned to the store she would give me my sides for free. When I got there Gabby gave me my sides then asked if there was anything else that I needed. I said, "Yes, the money for the sides. You said that they would be free." She then told me that if I paid for the sides AGAIN they would be free. When I asked her how that would be free she went into an explanation that made no sense. So, I told her to just give me my money back as she had told me that the sides were to be free. At first she tried to tell me that she couldn't return my money. Then she reluctantly put my money back on my card and I left. Of course I filled out the survey on their website and gave them a very low review. A few days later a woman who identified herself as a Church's manager called and gave me the same song and dance routine. After a few minutes I told her I had gotten my money refunded and that I was fine. Suffice to say I won't be going back to...
