Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Olathe

We are from Arizona, I don’t know if it is normal for Dutch to take 30 minutes out here but two days in a row we have been stuck at walk up and now currently in the drive through, stuck for another “quick dutch run”. The walk up yesterday was packed with at least 10 people standing outside all complaining about the wait time. Now in the drive through with 8 other cars not advancing in the line. I’m curious to know what this stores drive times are, comparatively to Arizona (window time than 2 minutes every time). The baristas are not especially nice or knowledgeable, multiple times clarifying order size and flavors, not using proper customer service speech, instead answering short and tbh rudely. Once we got up to the window she yelled at us from the espresso machine double checking our order like we hadn’t placed it with the same barista, 2 mins ago and it’s not on the screen in front of her. No hate to the employees, the store seems extremely short staffed or just poorly scheduled. they’re yelling back and forth to each other and scrambling around, obviously stressed out, shame on the manager for not scheduling 4-5 baristas for a 3:30 rush… Apparently they don’t sell cookies here? never been to a dutch without all the pastries. overall not happy with our experience at this...

Idk I'm from Ohio . Just discovered Dutch Bros n East Texas.. now I'm hooked. Screw Starbucks and 7Brew.. maybe even DD.. Dutch is much cooler.. less arrogant baristas than that star shop AND I LOVE THEIR CUTE BACKSTORY! I JUST ADORED THE OLATHE KANSAS LOCATION!! THE CUTE SWEET FUNNY DARK HAIRED YOUNG LADY WORKING TUES 07/09/2024 lunchtime was so helpful bcuz they don't have order ahead on the app yet. My NOVA-CAKES (5 yr old rescue pittie) just adored her pup cup with the milk bone treat! EDIT!! IVE BEEN IN KANSAS 2 WKS YESTERDAY. I ACCIDENTALLY WENT TO A FEW OTHER LOCATIONS IN MY RANDOM DRIVES AROUND BUT THIS LOCATION IS MY GO -TO. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. TOO BAD IM TOO OLD TO WORK HERE (LOL IM 42) BCUZ I SO WOULD APPLY. I'm a huge fan of this place, and recommend it to all my friends and family, especially those who like Starbucks, Scooters, and 7 Brew. It matches the on-the-go coffee brand, but the energy is entirely its own special mix of awesome which I give props to the staff for. The employees are ALWAYS friendly. It's awesome and consistent across all of the locations I frequent which is several around the area. Their app is also a great feature worth checking out if you enjoy it, because you earn points with each purchase, and the points can be redeemed for a free drink after a few visits! Overall, the coffee is a highlight to every day I choose to visit, and I'm looking forward to the next one.
