Go Chicken Go — Restaurant in Olathe

I hate to ever leave a bad review, especially when the service and food were outstanding. I literally have no complaints about this restaurants otherwise..... Upon walking in, I was given the best service. Fantastic conversation as well as just general goodness.

This was my first ever time here at this particular restaurant...

Ordered half an order of fried gizzards and half an order liver. Both delicious.. I also ordered a large sweet tea. Don't get me wrong, the sweet tea was delicious!

It was when I got home.. when I had the realization that within the lid of my sweet tea rested bugs. I believe they are baby cockroaches.. but I am not an expert, just the unfortunate person who happened to have bugs in my drink. Once I realized that there were insects literally within the grooves of the inside of my lid on my drink, I also found floating insects within my drink... And of course this was after I had already consumed half of it.. Again, having worked various restaurants, I know bugs happen. That is just a thing. However, having multiple bugs stuck within the grooves of the inside of my lid of my drink then, having bugs floating in my drink... There is something definitely telling about that... I am very torn about the tastiness of food...

Upon arriving to the location I probably was able to place my order plus I ordered the Wing pack they let me know that it's going to be a delay oh, I said okay that's fine, pay for it they parked me and eventually bought out the chicken which it came out hot fresh and crispy but as far as the flavor it was very Bland is like I always have a model when I go to go chicken go especially the one in the inner city near 51st and Troost, I say if you can't smell it in the air don't eat there, if you can't smell them season from them cooking that chicken at least a block away especially when you get in the parking lot the chicken probably won't have a lot of season flavor and this is what I've been running into and this is why I stopped at this location in Olathe to see if there was going to be any different but lo and behold it wasn't so I guess I'll try the one in KCK next people say that one is delicious but if you only have one recipe why you can't...

This is by far the best Go Chicken Go in the metropolitan Kansas City area. The service is always cordial, always with a smile, and always attentive to serving customers needs. Food is always good, hot, and ready. This is the Go Chicken Go must go location, for the many followers of their delicious chicken, and amazing chicken livers and gizzards for those seeking to get their taste buds full of amazing flavors. This location is a good 15-20 minute drive from my home and I wish that a location would open around the intersection of Antioch and 135th Street in Overland Park, not only it will be close to my home but I know I will be closer to the many followers that live in the surrounding areas and wish to have a location in Overland Park; there is quite a bit of business activity in that area and with a new location there, it will be a hit. Any thought of having a location in South Overland Park? Keep up the good attitude, service and quality...
