I went there the other night (around midnight) to pick up my order as well as my coworkers order using our online order codes. Almost one of the worst experiences I've had at a McDonald's. I pulled up to the drive thru and gave them both of our codes. Then I got to the lady at the window whom gave me the drink for my order and the food for my coworkers order. I then sat there thinking my food might not be ready yet and then the lady opened the window and I promptly told her what food I was missing even showed her my email confirmation with the food on it and she said she needed the code to look it up. The lady literally just gave me the drink for my order so I knew she had my order. She told me she needed to see my code so she could look it up, whatever I'm sure they can see the order history when they make the orders that and they get receipts to put on the bags. I went to the McDonald's app expecting to find my code in the "recent and favs" but all it showed was my food and my drink. I could tell by her look that she didn't believe me and she said to pull up to drive thru number one and she would come speak with me. After sitting there for ten minutes with no one bringing my food nor coming to speak to me yet the line kept moving. Frustrated, I went inside to speak to someone about getting my food. Thankfully I didn't talk to that lady again and I got a nicer gentleman whom I explained the situation too and even showed my email with the time that the order was placed so it wouldn't seem like I was a liar like she made me out to be. I was frustrated but the nice man thankfully didn't pester me into finding the code that I told the drive thru. He rang it up and made it for me himself so I could be on my way. It took 45 minutes when all was said and done and I was so anxious after dealing with all of that but I'm glad I at least got my food. The food was mediocre and the fries were way over salted but I'm glad I got my money's...
Read moreI ordered via kiosk and food was supposed to be brought out. The tent card I had picked up and entered into the kiosk said to sit down and that someone would bring it out. Around ten minutes go by and I noticed that everyone else that had a tent card was getting up to get their orders. I was puzzled as to why we were directed to take a card in the first place. I took a quick look to see how they were doing on my order. I could see that they were working on it, so I sat back down. Five minutes or so go by and I did not hear anything so I went back up to the counter where I saw my order sitting there. I asked the cashier if my order was ready and she said she didn't know and she only puts the food out. I took the food and sat down. Two minutes later, I noticed a coffee had been left out of the order. I went back up and a young man with a hat on and a beard said he would make it fresh. I stood there for several minutes and he then said he would bring it out. After around 15 minutes, I went back up and told the cashier that the guy in the hat had promised to bring my coffee out and he had not. The guy had forgotten and had moved on to other orders. The young lady then proceeded to get the coffee and said she was, "sorry about that", but nothing else was done to make the situation right. The entire crew was extremely young and I could see trash all over the floors in the back. Employees need to be trained properly on improving their customer service skills and to take their work more seriously. I know that this is McDonald's, but as a person who very rarely eats at any McDonald's, this experience has confirmed why I normally pay more for good customer service. My order was placed at 7:50pm. I received my coffee at 8:26 as my party and I were headed...
Read moreThis is my go-to McD's. I come here almost every day, whether it be for coffee, drinks, snacks, or a meal for the whole family. Never had any issues worth complaining about until today. I use the app and pick up Curbside, so naturally I accrue a lot of points. The most annoying thing about the app is they won't allow you to use any reward points while also using an app deal, which is the dumbest thing ever. You gotta use the app to get app deals and you gotta use the app to redeem points. So why can't I use an app deal while also using points that I earned? This forces us to place a second order simply to use reward points.
The second most annoying thing about the app is that you can't even use reward points for more than one item. So if you've racked up 10k points, you can't even use them all. What's the point of having it then? The only way to circumvent this issue is by placing multiple orders. One order to use an app deal, another order to use a reward, then another order to use a reward, etc. It's ridiculous and completely unnecessary.
Today, after doing this exact thing, the employee brought my orders and said their manager told them to tell me to stop placing multiple orders. I said "I don't have a choice since your app won't allow me to combine them in one transaction". They just repeated that the manager told them to tell me I can't keep using it for free items. I'm like "ok so I can't use my own reward points?" Wtf is this? You're mad at me for using your own app & reward program and somehow think I'm stealing from you by using the very points I spent money to earn? Lol make...
