Wow! This place is amazing! Food is super high quality. Atmosphere is fantastic. The smell as you walk in is salivating.
I've gotten to know the owner over the years and he is one heck of a guy. I use him exclusively for my sales meetings. My team always requests me to bring something new and exciting from a pastry standpoint. My staff always look forward to what Park Street Pastry is going to deliver. His pastries are gone within minutes and when my staff eats them, they are very careful to make sure not a single crumb goes uneaten.
Doug is a man full of integrity and perfection and it shows in his pastries. I would only expect this from someone who has been a bakery professor at Johnson County Community College for many, many years. He is a by the book kind of guy as he taught it at JCCC. I've even met some of his students and they have had nothing but incredible things to say about him. Many of them have great careers in the culinary industry.
Stop by Park Street Pastry and enjoy one of the best pastry dishes in...
Read moreA HUGE shout out to Park Street Pastry! I wanted to get a dozen of their award winning cinnamon rolls for my kidâs pre-Christmas brunch. I was pretty sure something was bad wrong, when I pulled up and saw there were no carsâŚ.no people, just the two of them standing behind the counter. Drew and I have been known to hit that place, on Saturday mornings and itâs always slammed! Itâs an over the top selection of THE BEST breakfast sandwiches, pastries of every kind, the likes of which youâll not find anywhere in the KC metro. I walked in, told them what I needed and Chef said, âIâm sorryâŚweâre only doing pre-orders.â But thenâŚhe said, âLet me see what I have; I made about 30 extrasâŚ.âďżź He counted what he had, I walked out with an even dozen! Kids, if youâve not been there, GO THERE. I promise you, no matter where youâve been in the past OR where youâre coming from, you will NOT be disappointed! Thank you, Chef. You...
Read moreHave tried this place a few different times, and each time has been poor. Customer service is really bad. Once asked if they could make a London Fog, and they were really rude. Needless to say, no London Fog. Another time I ordered a breakfast sandwich, and the man's fingernails who was making it and then handing it to me were really dirty, to the extent of maybe a medical grade problem. I lost my appetite knowing he touched my sandwich. Last time, husband picked me up a cup of potato soup. The soup was dark colored, which I thought was odd, but when I went to take a bite I realized it was super burnt. Like, smelled like an ashtray burnt. How you could think that was ok to serve and charge ppl for is beyond me. Had the customer service been better in the past, I'd have tried to tell them about it and give them an opportunity to make it right, but as rude as they are, I'd rather just throw it away and...
