My daughter, Dana, and I decided to meet each other at the Junque Drawer for a quick look at their unusual and one of a kind items. A friend had told her about the shop/studio and it sounded wonderful. Well, it certainly was; more like awesome! There was no quick look possible, If you go to have a quick look you had better go early! There is no such thing as "quick" when you walk into this place. You are in a wonderland of wonderful, exciting, brain teasing, uniquely designed pieces just out of this world! I have been in a lot of artisan shops, but never ever so overwhelmed with the feeling of total and absolute Awe at all the different items. I am amazed at what people are able to create and repurpose. You must stop by there. You will not be disappointed. Even the shop is unique! It is a house turned into a shop. When you go through the kitchen you can pick up a cookie and drink! I was so surprised to see a refrigerator in the kitchen I just had to open the door and see if it was real! Super nice owners and they way they've displayed their inventory makes it an even better shopping experience by yourself or with friends. So many times I caught myself laughing out loud while perusing all three levels of jewelry, home decor, party items, clothing, magnets, soaps, tea towels, ornaments, glasses, greeting cards, stickers, candles, pillows, etc. My only disclaimer would be if you're easily offended then this boutique may not be for you. They have several items that are very liberal but despite my difference of opinions on a couple controversial topics I still feel welcome to shop here and often feel that poking fun is a great way to deal with adult stressors.
