I am shocked that the Sonic corporation allows this franchise to exist. It has consistently been unreasonably slow, "understaffed", and rude. A customer can wait at least 5-10 minutes for their order to be taken after pushing the red button and then you wait another 15 min for drinks or 30 for food. Food that is stale from sitting out for so long. When speaking with employees they consistently mention the fact they are understaffed causing them to sometimes close up to 6 hours early and this has been the case for at least the 6 months I have lived near this location but according to the reviews here it looks like it's been like this for years and years, not sure how long it takes to hire cooks and carhops...Then there is the issue of Sonic employees at this location being consistently rude or unwelcoming. We have seen Sonic employees inside the building throw their headsets when we have asked them to fix our order, multiple times Sonic employees have rolled eyes at me or blamed me for their mistake. The general mindset of Sonic employees at this location is that the customers are an inconvenience to the employee. We have called the franchise owner at least 4 times after various bad experiences here and the corporation's customer service once. Read moreSo my girlfriend and I came here for a quick bite. It was about 2pm. We got our order placed with no issues. They come out after about 10 minutes with our food.. that was the QUICK part of our 30 min experience at this Sonic... I looked through the order, they missed the honey mustard sauce. I used to work at McDonald's for several years. Mistakes happen, no big deal, so we paged back and they told us it would be right out. After about 5-10 min of orders going out around us i asked one of the hops about the honey mustard, he had it in his pocket. At this point her fries were cold, which was the only reason she wanted the sauce. So he took those and said they will be right out. We waited about 10 MORE min brfore saying screw it called for the manager, at this point we were done waiting. We have a 6 hour drive ahead of us today. So who else comes back but the car hop.. who was apparently the manager on duty. I said i wamted a refund of the order and it took him another 5 minutes. All he refunded was the fries. Read moreI go to sonic pretty regularly and this one is the worst I've ever had unfortunate experience of coming to. Most days the service is alright at best, and most of the time it's abysmal. The employees not only are not knowledgeable of basic policies and items on their menu, but are incredibly rude when questioned about their mistakes.
I very regularly order Dr Peppers with Real Cream from sonics. I know of this drink from my time I'm college managing a sonic.it is as simple as putting their ice cream cream into a drink. I. One to this sonic so regularly that they generally know my order before it happens. But the other night, the car hop brings kynorder out. Doesn't say a word to me. Hands me my drinks in the most awkward fashion I've ever seen.it is at this point I realize they filled my drink with ice cream. It's a float, if a float had nothing. It ice cream in it. When asked to fix it I was told that I was wrong and they have never made my drink any other way. I've been told multiple times that I am wrong, or that the food is fine.
