The tea selection at Takao Tea is impressive. I had the iced grapefruit jasmine tea for something on the less sweeter side and it was delicious with hints of Jasmin, also ordered the berry hibiscus tea, with a delightful taste of blueberry and the floral touch of hibiscus. They offer a range of high-quality teas, each carefully described to help you understand its unique characteristics.

The staff at Takao Tea are friendly and knowledgeable. They’re happy to guide you through the menu and offer recommendations based on your preferences, which adds a personal touch to the visit. Their enthusiasm for tea makes the experience more enjoyable and informative.

In addition to the tea, Takao Tea offers a small selection of pastries and snacks, I had the sweet taro croffle, perfect sweetness topped with fluffy whipped cream.

Overall, Takao Tea is a wonderful spot to unwind and enjoy a well-crafted cup of tea. I will definitely be coming back for more...

Service is excellent; everyone I've met working here has been kind, helpful, and generally enjoyable to talk too. I've received a lot of good suggestions and help deciding what to get. Moreso, while sitting there enjoying my drink, I've witnessed excellent customer service for others who walked in.

The atmosphere is delightful. Lots of seating for the size of the shop. It's bright but cozy, even feeling elegant with the decor and often playing light jazz music. Love the little details of the chinese zodiac animal paintings, and the cute crocheted keychains they have for sale (made by one of the wonderful staff members). The owner is occasionally at the front also, and appears to be a very kind and good boss.

Lastly, the drinks... I've tried most of the boba & tea places in the greater KC area, and this is without a doubt the best quality tea I've had. I personally love thai tea, and the thai tea at Takao is EXCELLENT. I'm never disappointed by my choice here. Natural flavorings, housemade syrups, excellent lactose-free options, and both classic and unique drink options.

I recently visited Takao Tea, and I was blown away by the experience! The variety of flavors and toppings they offer is simply amazing, making it easy to find something for every taste. The staff was incredibly friendly and patient, helping me decide on the perfect drink.

I opted for their classic milk tea with boba, and my daughter chose her classic brown sugar boba tea... and it was the best we've ever had. The tea was perfectly brewed, with just the right balance of sweetness, and the boba pearls were perfectly chewy and fresh. You can choose from so many flavors, sweetness level type of milk and toppings! Plus its at the perfect price point and the quality outweighs the price!The shop itself has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, making it a great place to hang out with friends or just relax with a delicious drink. What an ambience and a sweet vanilla smell fills the air.
