I don't like to give low ratings or poor reviews but I was actually shocked at the poor customer service at this location, especially given the fact that I used to be a Starbucks barista and I know the customer service requirements for coffee shops. Before I continue, I'd like to say that I have no other complaints. The atmosphere was nice and the restaurant was clean, so sometimes you gotta take what you can get, I guess.
When I came here, I stood at the register for what seemed like almost five minutes and no one even looked at me. The manager was sitting in the dining area, most likely on break, and didn't even bother asking his employees to help me. All I was getting was a bottle of Powerade after a 20 mile walk.
When the girl finally came up to the register, she didn't even say anything at all. She scanned the UPC on the Powerade and then stood there silent with a scowl on her face. There was zero eye contact. I didn't say anything at the moment because I remember being in those moods at Starbucks, too, but that doesn't change the fact that it's sloppy customer service and it needs to be corrected. It can also make socially awkward people extremely uncomfortable.
Something I learned at Starbucks is that, despite the day you're having or the personal issues going on outside of work, you are responsible for creating a welcoming environment for customers. When I received everything 20 minutes later, I asked for one of bags to place the cups, sugar substitutes, sugar and the wake wraps. The girl stated to me thats for door dash. I explained to her I have all these things, I need to put everything in the bag so I can do 2 trips instead of 3. As you stated your not responsible for items left. The manager came out and stated no. I explained the same problem and she stated I understand. It will $1.00 per bag. Wow really for a paperbag? Read moreI started going to this location a couple of months ago because it is in the direction of my new job. I cannot believe that they cannot get an order straight. I had given them quite a few chances but nothing changed. The drive thru is always backed up with cars in the morning which I wouldn't mind waiting if my order was correct. For example, if you ask for coffee, they don't ask how you want it, you have to remind them. If you order a bagel sandwich you get a croissant.
