Hoffman's Deli — Restaurant in Old Bridge Township

My husband recently went to this deli. When he walked in two men were arguing over closing the deli. When the bearded gentleman saw my husband he asked him what he wanted. My husband replied that he would like to order a sub and the bearded gentleman replied that he did not want to make his sub because he was closing up the deli. The deli closes at 5pm on Sundays and my husband walked in at 3:30pm. At this point my husband did not want to anger the gentleman and he walked out. This is improper customer service and we will not be returning. It is a shame because we heard many good things about this deli. This gentleman’s attitude towards my husband for coming in to order a sub within business hours, specifically an hour and a half before closing, was uncalled for...

My family and I have been coming here for years getting sandwiches! NEVER again! I ordered a number 1 which is the first item on their menu! A new guy was working their and made my sub, when I checked my sandwich he made It completely wrong with the wrong cold cuts! I called the lady to explain and she told me " I don't know what to tell you, and once a sandwich goes out the store you can't return it" I said I wanted my money back! I go back with the sub and they had nasty attitudes like it was my problem. She finally asked if I wanted another and I said sure, the lady made it and it tasted dry no oil and vinegar! Ordered turkey sub through DoorDash to pick it up. Ordered it, and I was even late picking it up from the time DoorDash told me. I get there and am told they didn't get any DoorDash order. The deli guy then had to turn the tablet on and my order had come through. The guy then started working on my order and had to wait a few minutes. The store had been open several hours already and they didn't have their doordash tablet turned on???? Bread wasn't as fresh as it normally is. All in all, despite the confusion, tasty ingredients. If you order through DoorDash, maybe call them directly to confirm they got your order or else you’ll have to wait, thus defeating the purpose of online...
