Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Old Bridge Township

My daughter and I recently moved and decided to go in to Jersey Mike’s almost guaranting ourselves that they would not have a gluten-free sub since know that most sub places don’t cater to celiac people.

Boy, were we surprised! Not only do they have special, gluten free bread, wrapped, so it can’t be cross contaminated, but they have actually been trained by the company that when you tell them, you have a gluten allergy they go into overdrive.

They change their gloves, they wash down all of the counters, they wash the utensils, put down fresh wrap things, so that nothing touches anything that has gluten on it.

My daughter and I have been eating the subs for the last month since we found Jersey Mike’s and we eat them every weekend. We haven’t had one cross-contamination episode and they actually taste like regular, normal, the type of subs I remember as a kid.

I would like to thank two gentlemen at Jersey Mike’s one I do not know his name, but he’s always there when we show up and Chris who made our sandwiches today and I had them delivered for the first time because that’s how confident I am with this company.

If anyone in the corporate office reads this review, I hope they realize how valued they are employees are, and how willing they are to please, each and everyone of us. Jersey Mike's Subs Store #: 1051 Parlin NJ

We have ordered subs since 2019-usually 1x month. I just spent over $135 today and i am extremely dissapointed. The regular size subs were much smaller in length than usual and we did not get the extra meat we paid extra for. I called the store and complained about the size and lack of meat. They were no help at all and told me that i received what i paid for. This is the last time i will order from Jersey Mikes. Its very disappointing that you short change loyal customers with subpar quality, smaller quantity and horrible customer service. I would like a call back on my cell to futher discuss. I encourage you to pull up my order history and see how much money i have spent at the Parlin location. The company should really be embarrassed that it doesnt live up to its company values. So I got off of work super hungry and went to Jersey Mikes to get something to eat. It was 8:40 at the time and i was aware they closed at 9:00. I raced over there and made it there at 8:49. I walk in and there is a tall teen with poofy curly hair, kinda weird looking, just looking at me like i have four eyes, looking completely distraught that i was coming in 10 minutes before closing. I go “Are you guys still open?” and he says “Nah man we’re closed.” As i see 3 more employees coming out from the back putting their jackets on. Completely embarassing, I won’t be coming to this location again, It’s unfortunate how the employees are selfish enough to close early and not help a customer who comes here after work often.
