UPDATE: After posting this review the owner almost immediately made contact with me. He was extremely apologetic and after further reviewing the situation, he fully refunded my order to make amends. He said my experience does not represent their standards and they are committed to making sure this doesn’t happen again. I truly appreciate the owners followup which shows he takes pride in his business and the product he sells. We are going to return and give them another try in hopes to having a better experience.
We are extremely disappointed in the customer service and quality of food. We ordered from Mike’s because we were having people over for a birthday and a few people needed gluten free pizza. They are one of the few places that have cauliflower crust. Unfortunately, we will never be back! I placed an order online at 2pm for 530pm pickup. My husband arrived at 5:10pm and let them know he was there for a 5:30pm pickup. At 5:45pm half the order was complete (the gluten free pies) they then just start making the regular pies. My husband’s complaints were dismissed when he complained about half our order getting cold while the other half just got started at 5:45pm. They blamed it on a system issue and then said they were busy even though my husband was there for quite awhile and no one was coming in. He asked to speak to the owner or manager and a worker there called someone who told him that no one was available and the manager was away on vacation. They told him we would not be receiving a refund since we were going to be taking the pizzas. We had to take them, we had a house full of people waiting to eat! We weren’t even looking for a refund but wanted them to do something to make this right since half our order was already cold and there was a 30 min delay. They offered us 2- 16 ounce sodas and an order of garlic knots. It is now 6pm and a worker grabs the gluten free pies and then two random regular pies that were sitting on the oven the whole time my husband was there and says our order is now done. So they either had our order done the entire time and didn’t know or they gave us someone else’s pies that were sitting around. This was now 30 min after our pickup time and 50 min after he arrived. The gluten free and regular pies were ice cold that we served to our guests. To top it off, one of the pies had a huge hole in one of the slices. I can’t believe they sent us home with this mess! We didn’t pay to have cold pizza with holes in it. Worst...
Read moreTheir food is mediocre but I placed an order for delivery as they’re only two minutes down the road. I was asked over the phone if I’d like to leave the driver a tip on the card. I said I would tip the driver in cash. Little did I know they recently implemented a $5 delivery fee! This was not mentioned to me over the phone and the manager Sergio was extremely unprofessional. First, he tried to not even get on the phone. Then he got on the phone and told me I should have picked it up when I said I didn’t know they just started charging a delivery fee. When he didn’t want to talk anymore, he simply handed the phone over to a guy named Kevin who I can only assume was the delivery guy, who mind you was more professional than the “manager”, Sergio. I’m annoyed that I payed $8 between a delivery fee and cash tip just to have a salad and a chicken roll delivered 2 minutes away. I was the told that the delivery fee doesn’t even go to the driver but the establishment. I think this is a disgrace and will most definitely not be ordering from this place again. If the $5 fee went to the driver as gratuity I wouldn’t have a problem. This also should have been mentioned to me over the phone when I asked for a delivery so I could have gotten in my car and drove two minutes to pick it up. Very...
Read moreI just left your restaurant. I get there and ask the girl at the counter for 2 slices or pepperoni and asked her to make it warm and not popping hot , and expressed the importance of this as the cheese can injure my mouth because I have highly sensitive gums, She throws 1 slice in the oven, and then proceeds to talk to someone else about nothing having to do with serving another customer. It’s me and 1 other customer in the whole place, I ask her to take the slice out of the oven and she says “when it’s done , I will…” I tell her that she’s not listening to what I said, and I ask her again, she then tells me to pay for it first. So I walked out, These kids don’t listen… First off , i asked for 2 slices, not 1. I asked for her to just make it slightly warm, not hot. She just goes ahead and does what she wants to do. As I’m walking out, she says some smarty pants nonsense to me: “do you want to come back for dinner…” Trust me, NO NOT EVER Update: To the owner. Tried you guys again. Because I read what you wrote here, same situation, different kid. Except this time, he challenged me to a verbal fight calling me names etc…. Obviously, you hire people who do not listen and don’t give two shafts about what the customer asks of them. No thanks, never again, and your pizza is...
