First the bad news

Because of sin, we are born separated from God.  Without intervention, we are unable to dwell with God.  This applies to the entire human race. You are not alone.

Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;”

Romans 3:10 says, “As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:”

Romans 6:23a “For the wages of sin is death;”

Revelation 21:8 “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone:”

There is no amount of good works we can do to save ourselves from being eternally separated from God.

Ephesians 2:8-9 say, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

To be separated from God forever, simply do nothing. To ignore or reject God’s son is to be already condemned to the Lake of Fire (Revelation 20:15, 2 Thes. 1:7-9).

John 3:18 “He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

But there is good news!

There is a simple and free way to be reconciled with God made possible by God’s only son Jesus. He was nailed to a Roman cross to shed His blood in payment for your sin. Then three days after His death, He rose from the dead, validating once and for all His qualification to be our only Savior.

Placing your complete trust in Jesus’ death, burial and resurrection is the one and only way to be reconciled to God.

Jesus said (John 14:6), “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

John 3:16 & 17 are clear. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

The Bible clearly tells us how to be saved:

Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”

This is a free gift from God because He loves you.

Romans 6:23b “but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Romans 10:13 “Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Are you ready to believe right now?  If so, simply tell God what he asked you to confess. You might use a prayer similar to this one:

“God, I admit to you that I am a sinner, and I know I cannot do anything to earn my way into your kingdom. I truly believe that Jesus died on the cross, was buried and rose from the grave. I put my faith in His sacrifice to pay for my sin in full.”

This evening, we sat at the interior bar and was greeted and served by Haylie. About the same time, a large group of employees (approx. 15) from a nearby company had all clocked out and came over to the outdoor bar area. Haylie handled everything like a pro. She took our orders and theirs, and never seemed to be overwhelmed. I got the Combo Appetizer as my meal and the wife got the Carnitas Pork Tacos. My food was good, my wife said the meat was a bit dry, but overall, it was good. We both also got the Margarita Flight. They were good, but a bit on the sweet side. We got two extra shots of tequila ($10) and doctored them up, so everything was good to go. Now for the little things that impressed us about Haylie. For another customer who had ordered a wine, Haylie made sure to wipe off the exterior and interior of the glass before pouring. Some people might say that is no big deal, ALL bartenders do that, NO they don't. We have the pleasure of "Empty Nesting" (kids are all growth and OUT of the house, if you did not know the meaning), so we mostly sit in the bars of restaurants and see this first hand. Prior to our food arriving, I remember being on my phone, answering a colleague’s text. Haylie, prior to placing the ketchup and mustard bottles on the bar, shook both of them. Now, anyone knows, waiters, waitress and/or bartenders mostly do not do this. I looked at my wife and asked, "Did she really just do that?", and she said "Yep!". She then got everything that we would need to enjoy our meal, without us asking, nothing was needed. Haylie was a great help when my wife was having an issue with the rewards app. We had a nice conversation with Haylie's manager about her serve, so Great Job Haylie! FYI.. THOUGHT WE WOULD TRY THE NEW OLDSMAR,BEEF OBRADYS... SADLY IT WAS "VERY DISAPPOINTING".... UPON BEING SEATED,WE NOTICED HOW DIRTY AND UNSWEPT THE FLOOR WAS.....TERRIBLY DIRTY !!!!

THE WAITER WAS TALKATIVE AND WE ORDERED DRINKS.. BOTTLE BEER AND A DIET COKE.. THE BOTTLE BEER THROUGHOUT THE MEAL WAS ON THE WARM SIDE..NOT COLD AT ALL... I ORDERED A DIET COKE..& ASKED 3 TIMES FOR A REFILL THAT DIDNOT ARRIVE AT ALL!!! WE FINALLY ORDERED AND IT TOOK A INORDINATE AMMOUT OF TIME TO GET OUR ORDER SERVED... FINNALLY IT ARRIVED... CHICKEN TACOS SERVED WITH ONION RINGS WERE SIMPLY GREASY & TASTED LIKE OLD FRYER OIL... YUCK! OUR OTHER ENTREE' ORDER WAS A 5 CHEESE HAMBURGERER AND ONION RINGS HAMBURGER WAS COOKED AS ORDERED.. BUT ONCE AGAIN ONION RINGS WERE COLD,GREASY AND SOGGY..& AGAIN TASTED LIKE OLD OIL... THE MEALS AVERAGED ABOUT $26.OO BUCKS..AND SIMPLY NOT WORTH THE MONEY IN QUALITY OR PREPERATION.. DRINKS AVERAGED ABOUT $24.00,TOTAL AND WERE NOT WORTH IT!!!! I MADE IT KNOWN TO SERVER AND MANAGER ABOUT OUR FOOD AND BEER..BOTH WERE NOT INTERESTED OR GAVE US ANY EXPLATION!!!! HOW PROFESSIONAL WAS THAT!!!!! TOTAL POOR MANAGEMENT!!!!!!! SADLY WE LEFT FEELING TOTAL SWINDLED..$50. TOAL BILL...
