Sunday after church, family (6) voted for Chinese. Daughter had been told their Gen Cho Chicken was the best around. But it is just a carry out place, so we called in an order for Moo Goo Gai Pan, Shrimp with Lobster Sauce, Bourbon Chicken and three (3) General Cho Chicken. Plus an order of Dim Sum.

Most of the family went to our house to set the table and drinks. My eldest daughter and I picked up the orders. Now most places our party of 6 would be well over $100, but this was only $66, given that we all wanted items from the $8.88 lunch combos with rice and egg rolls. Plus the fact that we all made two meals from it.

Order was ready in 10 minutes after arrival. We hurried home and dug in - after giving thanks. Dim Sum was great. Shrimp Lobster was great. Bourbon Chicken was great. Gen Tso Chicken was superb. Just as we were told, spiced just right and not heavy with a lot of batter. Everyone loved it.

A bit disappointed at the Moo Goo, my dish. It was very good but missing some veggies my usual place has. Not bad but not great.

Take out. I will NOT return. The food is subpar and pricey. People need to know. The hot n sour soup, base delicious but not authentic. White button mushrooms, raw carrot and plain tofu. Nothing else. Nothing authentic to Chinese hot n sour soup. Steam dumpling. Skimpy filling with decent flavor and tender but SKIMPY quantity of flavorless dumpling sauce. Egg roll. Soggy and boring. Flavorless. Seemed like just cabbage that was limp and nothing else. Crab Rangoon. Skimpy filling, soggy on the outside. Weird flavored sauce. Pork and eggplant -DELICIOUS! Large tender slices of pork with some nicely cooked eggplant in a great sauce. House egg foo yung. Flavorless. Had some shrimp. Otherwise I didn’t taste any other meat and the rest of the egg pancake was flavorless and burnt on edges. The sauce was AWFUL. THIN and no flavor. Plain rice tasted old and mushy. Stir fried rice was awful. Rice, soy sauce and egg. No veggies, not even onion. No flavor. Threw it away. Take your chances but I...

Best service small restaurant although they moved they still have same food and people. I love their orange chicken!! :)

Edit: A huge note out there, No. we do NOT shorten the rice. It depends on what size you order. And we also for more connivence we put small rices together to make a medium one :) In case you are confused about something PLEASE. PLEASE. Just ask them, they would be happy to clear up things for you. ...... Thank you for listening. Also, The people up front are not rude. They are really kind and caring people.

Also, Joanne. You clearly don’t know how rude you were. YOU were the one being rude to us. We didn’t shorten rice or anything at all. Posting a review simply out of spite won’t change anything. We tried to be reasonable with you but clearly that wasn’t what you wanted. Next time, I recommended you learn some respect instead of proceeding to try and bash us...
