Jack Willie's Bar, Grill & Tiki — Restaurant in Oldsmar

I was riding my bicycle back to Lutz from work around Raymond James stadium and I was hungry after about 30 miles of riding when I stumbled upon this bar....I could hear the live music which was great and so I decide to stop by for a beer. I belly up to the bar and an older fellow was sitting at the bar with a huge smile and was very welcoming and engaging ,

I asked if the chair was available and he said yes, the bartender Taylor came over and asked what I would like to drink at the same time she was pouring a Fat Tire Ale for the old timer and I asked if I could try it after the old time assure me it was pretty good...indeed it was and I settle on a pint and also asked what the establishment was known for regarding food...." Grouper Sandwich..." three options were given....fry, blacken, or grilled...what is your favorite I asked , " blacken I recommend" blacken it was...on the mean time as I was waiting for my food the bar got really busy and these two very attractive to me women came in and sat next to me and they waited as Taylor was busy not only making drinks but also waiting tables but she did come by the two girls and let them know she would be available soon....the food was outstanding...I highly recommend the grouper sandwich , it was cooked to perfection...it comes with lettuces , tomatoes, a pickle and tartar sauce and fries....so it is highly recommended but what impressed me the most was the atmosphere and the staff...all very attentive, honest, warm and welcoming...the live music was excellent, you could hear them but did not have to scream to be heard.'

Taylor than you for the recommendation and watching you work was very satisfying...in a world where most do not care about customer service and hospitality....your hospitality was immensely appreciated.

I highly recommend that if you are going to be around Oldsmar, head over to Jack Willie s Bar, Grill & Tiki...a little jewel...

This place is definitely nothing like the pictures I went there to grab some dinner we decided to eat inside we saw 2 ladies sitting there holding a dog we thought they were waiting on a table nope one of them was the cook she was sitting outside sweating rubbing all over that animal dog hair all over her she proceeds to walk in right behind us covered in dog hair she makes the statement ok time to cook 🤢 we walked in there was no one there but some employees sitting wrapping silverware talking soooo loud cussing saying some pretty nasty things we thought ok they see us they will chill out but nope they didn't so that didn't even top it the smell of mold was literally unbearable it was so potent I had to leave almost immediately the filth and the walls were disgusting I can't imagine how that kitchen looked I got my check for my drink and left I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE EVER the sad part is the place has potential if the right person would gut it out actually clean it and have respectable employees if you have asthma like my best friend does do not attempt to enter this place your need your inhaler...

The place looked good like it's been taken care of, haven't been for a while. I think the quality of the food isnt as good as it used to be. The spinach salad was a bowl densely full of spinach leaves taken right out of the bag with some very thick bacon dressing on the side which is very unappetizing, like corn starch glue They should probably dump the bacon dressing and predress the salad with something fresh, no finesse. I used to enjoy the cobb salad in the past but it's not on the menu anymore. I asked for a big piece of Mahi (no tail) to be done buffalo style on top of the salad left whole. it came separately ,later, on a side plate in pieces looked like out of the the microwave, not fried. But overall not bad other than the waitress and my meal. My child's chicken fingers were good and my wife salad was a typical side salad, my beer was cold. The waitress was efficient but had no personality at all and didn't want to hear any criticism, customers fault kind of attitude! I've been ordering fried buffalo-style Mahi for Year's and this was the worst. A warm personality and a nice presentation...
