I used to work at a McDonald's at St.John. It was pretty stressful and yall gotta think that most McDonalds here in St.Louis are open 24 hrs. And ya'll also gotta understand and i've seen this myself they have workers not calling and not showing. They are sometimes not having anyone come to their appropriate shift times and the struggle of all them customers get real. Especially when short on staff. Like sometimes you got 2-3 people in grill area one on table or something 1 at fried food and another on the burgers. Normally itll be 4 or 5. Then u have barely any staff so they have to close the inside to avoid the rush and extra work thus to not put stress on their workers. And you got these rude people that complain for nothing. Like for example a Quarter Pounder is meant to be dark FYI IT IS NOT BURNT. Another thing pies take 12 minutes to make So please understand that McDonald's don't have ovens that can make pies in under a min stop that. Also these door dashes especially they either get mad because McDonald's dont have their specific order take time and listen. If they don't have it, they don't have it. It's possible that the one who placed the order got it sent to the wrong place. Or the order didnt go through the app. And yes it's true that some McDonalds started to price the sauces (extra sauces) that isn't included with the order, for example if you have a 20 piece you get to have 3 sauces, any more than that you will be charged. And also they get so many people that ask for a lot of stuff. First off they don't have unlimited supply take that into consideration. And plus the McDonalds in Olive and Overland arent even close to being as busy as the one in St.John especially during after school. I say this because you got a Middle School (Ritenour Middle) and a Highschool (Ritenour High) those two schools have students going to that same McDonalds after school every weekday. And plus have yall thought that the workers are stressed out and deprived of happiness because ya'll greedy people keep arguing that they arent getting ya'll orders right. They do because ya'll took their spirit away and it made them less confident in their ability, it made them lose the bond with the community and it also made them lose themselves. I know this cause this happened to me. And why are you guys taking McDonalds seriously it's just food. Ya'll know how to cook if ya'll dont like it then make food at your house. Yall got a oven, a stove and probably other things to make a good meal. If yall going to McDonalds just to complain then stay home and cook. Yall didn't get a house just to not do stuff in it. And plus isn't cooking an essential skill to have? McDonalds been doing this for years, it was a place where families can come together and enjoy a good breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Now they are tired of ya'll bs (customers) because ya'll been sucking the joy out of working at McDonalds. Just know they are trying their best to do good for ya'll, now I think it's time ya'll do...
Read moreOrdered food at drive thru, at 10:04 pm. We placed our order and paid 30.98 at the first window. When we pulled up to the 2nd window, we were asked to pull around to the front, to wait for our order. We refused, because that never ends well for us. Our order is always cold, or missing items. We expressed our reservations, ask for our food, and said we wouldn't pull off. She kept clapping her hands at us stating you need to pull around, she did this repeatedly. We refused to pull off without our food. She closed the window, came back, and said she canceled our order, and gave us a refund. Afterwards she came out to the car behind us, in the drive thru, to give them their food. All we ordered were Big Mac's, fries, chicken nuggets and a Mchicken sandwich. We left the drive thru, because we didn't want anyone to call any guns, to McDonald's over Burgers, fries, a drive thru, and "pull up and wait" refusal. Worst experience ever. This has been my neighborhood McDonald's for over 30 years. Very dissatisfied with the lack of professional courteousness, rude and disrespectful behavior. This policy of asking people to pull off and wait, after they pay for their food is ridiculous, and is unacceptable customer service. We did not deserve to get treated...
Read moreI stopped at this McDonald's on my way to work to redeem a receipt from a survey that I had done online. The cashier taking my order, had a slight problem trying to ring up what was on the receipt. The manager Angie came over to see what was going on and I told her that I had a receipt for a buy one, get one free breakfast sandwich from a survey that I had done online. She began telling me that store doesn't participate, but will go ahead and do it this time. I told her that it states on the receipt that it is redeemable at any US Mcdonald's. She then got an attitude stating again that store doesn't do that and that the receipt is out of Columbia, MO. I then told her that she needs to drop the attitude. She asked me if I wanted my refund back and continues saying that no one tells her what to drop. I mentioned that I will be contacting corporate office to inform them of her attitude towards a customer. She responses, "go ahead my name is Angie." I will never ever go back to this Mcdonald's again, especially not in the morning time or period for that matter. Plus, most of them was wearing their masks either below their chin, or no mask at all, nor gloves with this pandemic still going on. The only person that had their mask on correctly, was...
