Abelardo's Mexican Fresh — Restaurant in Omaha

I go to the one off 84th street all the time but saw they had gone on uber eats so I decided to try it. When I placed my order I forgot to add a food item so immediately called the location right after I got off the phone. I had a really hard time trying to explain to the man I talked to that I placed an order through uber eats and that I forgot an item in which I wanted to add to my order and was prepared to pay for over the phone. The man kept asking me when I would like to pick up the order and kept saying they don't do uber eats or deliver but I had already paid for and gotten the confirmation number for the order. At this point, confused, I called uber eats customer service and spoke with a lady who called the restaurant to verify my order . She said it was being prepared now. I called back to add the food item and consistently was being told they don't do uber eats and that they hadn't gotten my order at all. Very difficult and frustrating to deal with. My uber driver also said they were every bit unpleasant. Then when I opened my food it looked like they three everything together (worse than normal), I didn't get the item I requested over the phone, very skimpy portions which is rather unusual, and the food was cold. Normally this place is on point. At least the location at 156th and center (my usual spot). I went to the 108th and Q location because it’s close to my dads work and I wanted to show him the greatness of albelardos.

I called my order ahead of time cuz of the pandemic and ordered a couple items. For my dads burrito I asked them to add shrimp onto the burrito. Seems like a simple enough request. When I got to the drive thru, I asked again to make sure shrimp is on burrito and not on the side.

When I got to the window to pick up the food I asked one more time and was told it’s on the burrito. When I got to my dads work, I found out (shocker) the shrimp was on the side and not on the burrito.

Now this alone wouldn’t justify such a low review. When my dad tried to eat his burrito he found out the fries on it were as raw as they could be. They were hard and completely uncooked. So they lied several times about the shrimp and put fries on the burrito that weren’t even cooked for 10 seconds.

Had to put one star to move forward with this review but, honestly today’s service don’t even deserve 1 star!!! First pull in he drive through and order my food, asked 3 times no lettuce because of allergies and what to you know tons of lettuce!!!!! Second the total was higher than usual so I asked the guy why so much? He responded like a disrespectful child by saying so rude “from the things you ordered and slammed window in my face!!!! Then comes back and I say can I get a break down and he gets iso irate and it still didn’t make since but, we were so angry I said screw it ! Brings our bag to window practically throwing in my truck!! These kind of people DO NOT need to be working with people!!
