We went for lunch on a Sunday expecting good things. The menu seemed comprehensive and promising. The waiter was anxious to take our order and stopped by our table a couple of times to check on our progress. When we were ready to order the waiter took my order, then rushed off completely ignoring my lunch companion. Thinking the waiter left due to an emergency we expected that he was coming back to finish taking our order. I finally went to the hostess station to get someone to complete our order. As a result, my food arrived about 5 mins before my companion's food which was very awkward. The waiter forgot to bring my sour cream until I reminded him when he finally brought my companions plate. I ordered a taco and enchilada with beans and rice. I like to order the basics for the first time at a new place. The taco was a small grocery store variety corn shell with a small amount of ground beef, lettuce and tomato tucked inside. The enchilada was small, thin, about the size of a taquito with beef inside and coated with sauce. It was so small that I thought it was missing until I poked around and found it. The rice was spread thin across the large plate as was the refried beans with a sprinkling of shredded white cheese on top. I really expected something better than I could whip up at home. It just wasn't special or unique or impressive and wasn't a Mexican restaurant experience meal. My companion ordered a chicken mushroom burrito and his meal seemed more substantial. The burrito was the size of the length of the plate covered with red sauce and cheese sauce. He had no complaints but still rated the meal as average. At the end of the meal, the waiter took my companion's credit card off the table before bringing the cheque and when he returned it with the receipt he placed it in front of me, not my companion. I would rate the quality of service pretty low, but my companion is a softy who left a fair tip. I would rate the quality and attention to Mexican food basics (taco/enchilada) very low compared to other Mexican restaurants. As I said, I was expecting something special and authentIc from this Mexican restaurant but left feeling disappointed. I will not be a...
Read moreI will not be going here again. I had such a bad experience. Plus I had a lip print on my cup and didn’t realize it until after I drank a fourth of my water. Disgusting. Too much of a bad experience to write it all here. One thing I must say is I was first in line and stood waiting for someone to greet me for five minutes only to have them greet the white couple behind me and seat them first. Maybe that was an honest mistake but not one they should make often. I was annoyed because they only came in and stood for all of 30 seconds for her to gravitate towards them and seat them. The restaurant was not busy as it was lunchtime and they were plenty of seats available. But ok.
The food. The salsa was delicious trust me. It’s hard for me to find salsa that I like seeing how I love salsa so much. But it was really good. I had a steak fajita which was mediocre. I’ve had better. For Mexican food it lacked seasoning. But that’s just my opinion. Oh and the water was delicious and refreshing!
It’s a good thing I was dining alone. Because whoever I was going to call it was going to be all on me. I don’t feel comfortable giving them any more of my money. I CAN say the prices are very reasonable though.
I also ordered chicken enchiladas to go as i ordered my food. I wanted something to give to my daughter when I picked her up from school. Only to get home and open the bag that was tightly tied. They gave me beef enchiladas instead of chicken. Smh.
I can’t remember the last time I had a bad experience at a restaurant. Oh and remember how I said the salsa was so delicious? During my meal I asked if I could have more salsa and chips as the waiter was walking by. He says sorry no refills. Not hey it may be an extra charge for more chips and salsa. But sorry no refills? Even if I’m willing to pay? I didn’t get that as he just walked away without even saying anything else.
Anyway like I said this is one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant and I will not be frequenting here at all. I’ll make sure my people don’t go there either because they sure have been...

I just wanted to give a more recent update to say this place is still amazing! It's by far our favorite Mexican restaurant now! Even when busy, the service is still fast and the food is always delicious. Everyone is extremely nice and overall it's a great dining experience every time we go!

My girlfriend and I went here for her birthday and it was an amazing experience. To start the chips and salsa were amazing and tasted very fresh (although you might not like the salsa if you don't like cilantro). My girlfriend ordered a house margarita ($11) and unlike most places where you get it in a glass, they gave you a martini glass with a salted rim and ice and then gave you the 16 oz shaker (they pour the first glass for you). Once we ordered our food it came out in a few minutes (and it was fairly busy) and it was hot and fresh. We both got fajita quesadillas, mine with steak and my gfs with chicken. They come with refried beans, Mexican rice, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo. I'm not usually a fan of refried beans or Mexican rice but the beans were very flavorful and creamy and the rice was very flavorful as well. The steak in the quesadilla tasted amazing and the cheese used was very creamy and tied it together. Since it was my girlfriend's birthday, when we ordered dessert (we got sopapilla) they brought out sombreros and sang to her as well as giving her a shot in the house (and the sopapilla was on the house). The sopapilla was crispy (tbh it's the first time I've had them so idk how they're supposed to be but my gf said that she's had them where they've been soft so idk) but it was very yummy and served with ice cream on top. Overall it was an amazing time and we're...
