I have been going to fetas for YEARS. As a family we actually started out on Katie’s Greek restaurant on dodge, my father was the liquor salesman for the restaurant when I was a little kid. My family was friends with the owner Billie. When it got bought out by her brothers company we started going to fetas on the regular. The food is great HOWEVER, today was the WORST experience I had ever had. I had called to place an order and some older white male took it. I had asked for a chicken gyro plate, no veggies, and a salad with no tomato and olives. I sent my husband to get the order, he comes back home with a gyro plate with gyro meat not the chicken I ordered, all the veggies were still on it and my salad had only tomato and olives on it when I asked for those to be the ONLY things I didn’t want on it. Whatever so I call and the man who took my order answers the phone. I told him everything was wrong with our order and all he could say was “well YOU must’ve not told me what you wanted correctly because on your ticket it says the order you received “ he basically told me that I had ordered it wrong even though I have been getting the same exact order since I was 5 years old. Absolutely horrible customer service. He only offered to give me my correct order. I had to drive 15 miles back to the store myself to get the correct order during rush hour. You lost a long time customer Nick. You should probably do something about this employee since I’m clearly not the only one who has had an issue with him. He needs to take responsibility for his mistakes and not blame them on the customer. That’s how you...
Read moreI've been coming here for years. I always liked it.
Until... When I went to use my Feta's card, all my punches had disappeared.
They also gave me a hard time about packing my order separately because I had to take it a hundred miles.
And then after I spent $60. $60! I asked for one extra tzatziki sauce and the cashier told me I would have to run my card again and pay $0.60 for it. A $60 order and they're going to charge me 0.60 for an extra tzatziki sauce?
I prefer to spend my money at businesses that appreciate me. Not businesses that nickel-and-dime me to death. And when I complained to the young man at the counter, he turned and spoke to the "cook" in Spanish... Apparently, because I'm blond haired and blue eyed, I dont understand Spanish, but I do. What they said about me was not cool...
There are lots of good Greek places in Omaha. King Kong has the best salads and sides. Three locations plus Lincoln.
Jim and Jennie's Greek has awesome food and the staff is very friendly and you can get unlimited tzatziki sauce.
Greek Isles down on Center Street has a full Greek menu. And while it's a little bit more expensive the menu more than makes up for the price.
My advice to you is if you want Greek, steer clear of Feta's.The staff is unfriendly and not helpful and the fast food style Greek...
Read moreDon't be fooled by the 4.5 star rating of this place; I was. I ordered the chicken gyro combo and fries were good, perhaps a bit overcooked, but good. However, the chicken gyro had many problems. First of the meat looked and tasted like it was boiled. I saw no evidence that it was sauteed at all. The onions and tomatoes were overloaded on it and they charged me 55 cents each, $1.10 plus tax total, for 2 small cups of extra cucumber sauce, but the sauce was very good. The drinks were good and the service was acceptable. The last thing to note is that I tried a piece of the beef gyro meat from my mom's plate and it was way better than the garbage that I ordered. So, if you are going to go here, avoid the extra sauce, and the beef gyro combo is the way to go. If you absolutely have to order the chicken then I would say to order the chicken supreme combo and ask them to saute it properly. About 8 to 10 years ago, this place used to be much better, but like with many things, it has to get worse. I would have given them three stars, but they are also too expensive. The chicken gyro combo was $9.89 or something very close to that. It cost me about $22.00 for two...
