Geno's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Omaha

Let me start off by saying the food was fine and the service was as amazing as it could be. So what's my beef? Wednesday night. One server covering the entire restaurant. The whole thing by herself. She worked her ass off, somehow with a positive attitude, but could hardly keep up just running drinks alone. Food was left to pile up and then die in the expo window while she was taking orders, entering orders, running the food and drinks, cleaning tables, and closing out checks. She kicked ass; however, the TWO lazy goodfornothings behind the bar should be ashamed of themselves. One was even on her phone while the expo window just kept stacking up behind her. Meanwhile, customers came in and left after sitting at tables with no service, the one server trying to keep up had to deal with people coming up to her asking for things when her feet stopped for two seconds, and she prob got crappy tips all night because it was impossible for...

WHAT A SHAME….

Never in my life have I ever had an experience like this. On 06/02, my wife and I went to Geno’s for dinner and let me fill you in on what happened.. The beer I ordered was the coldest and greatest tasting beer I’ve ever ordered at any bar in Omaha. The sandwich I ordered (The Nebraska BLT) was hands down the GREATEST sandwich I’ve ever had at a bar. To top things off, our waiter was an absolute 12/10. He was attentive and had a sense for his customers needs. Before I realized I needed a refill he was there to top me off without me even asking. It’s an absolute shame that my wife wouldn’t let me order seconds on everything we ordered just to have this experience again. I would literally walk across 1000 miles of hot coals, barefoot to eat the BLT again. I can’t wait to visit Geno’s...

Usually a good spot but the last couple of visits have been way below average. Last visit we ordered a pizza, they brought us the wrong one. I understand mistakes happen so not a big deal. Eventually brought the correct order but is was not very good. Too much sauce seemed rushed.

The time before that myself and a friend stopped in to watch the Sunday night NFL game. We asked if they would be turning the channel to the game and the waitress in the rudest possible way responded with yeah we will turn it once it starts. We asked if they would include the game volume and again in a rude voice once it starts I would imagine it will have the volume. Needless to say we canceled our drink order and left.
