Went to Herbe Sainte tonight with my wife to enjoy a little Cajun style dinner. First time there and was very impressed. The food was amazing. We started with the crab cakes as an appetizer, and they were delicious. Crispy on the outside, yet tender and flavorful inside, and the sauce was to die for. I went with the jambalaya my entree, and a side of red beans and rice.... Well, because that always screams to me Cajun. The red beans and rice did not disappoint, with a perfect combination of red bean flavor that blended perfectly with the sticky white rice underneath. Not to soupy, and very filling. As for the jambalaya, of course it was delicious, although it was lacking a bit in the spice area, but Lennard, our server, brought three different kinds of hot sauce to give it a bit more kick, and the lime cilantro medium heat, mixed with the mango habanero hotter sauce, had me sweating and sniffling by the end of the meal.... Just the way it should. It was soooo good, I couldn't stop eating or, even after I was full. My wife had the blackened shrimp and cheese grits with collard greens. I'm not a big greens fan, so I took a pass on trying those, but I did try the cheesy grits in the BBQ sauce that dressed the blackened shrimp, and it was the bomb. BTW.... My wife said the greens were absolutely fantastic as well.... So I'll take her word on that. Lol We will certainly go back....hard to find good Cajun food, so this one is now on my go to list when it comes to Cajun homestyle cooking.

Last night we tired Herbe Saintes for the first time. We got there around 6 and the manager said it would be a 45 minute wait but directed us across the street to the Inner Rail for a drink while we waited. No problem at all but next time we will call ahead because they do call ahead seating for smaller parties. I’ll start off by saying we had GREAT service. I think our waiters name was Lennord. He went above and beyond all night. We ordered the Nola shrimp for an appetizer. Holy cow it was AMAZING! Probably one of the best appetizers we’ve ever had. If you like shrimp this is a must have! I ordered the crawfish Étouffée and my boyfriend got the Roast Beef Po' Boy. The Étouffée was some of the best I’ve ever had. Next time I will add shrimp to it though. My boyfriend loved his Roast Beef Po’Boy and said he would get it again. We will be back for sure. Two minor complaints though. It is extremely loud in there so if you’re looking for a quiet place to eat this is not the spot. Also, the kitchen staff had very long/straggly beards. It would be nice if they wore beard nets.

Let's talk about the brunch I just experienced this pas weekend at Herbe Sainte.. The Bananas Foster French Toast might be one of the most incredible French toast dishes I've ever had. I'm not sure what type of bread they used, or where it came from, but I think it must have some sort of addictive narcotic as a secret ingredient... I will probably be dreaming about it for months to come. The Cajun Eggs Benny was phenomenal as well, but since it doesn't include ice cream on the plate, it sadly takes second place in this meal The Applewood smoked bacon was thick and cooked perfectly, the hollandaise was flavorful, and the poached egg was probably one of the most beautifully textured I've seen on a plate in a long time. To top it off, the NOLA taters were crispy, and the perfect amount of spicy. The atmosphere at HS is always fun and inviting, the server was friendly and attentive, and we were sat right away without a wait. I love stopping by here for dinner, and now I'm excited to finally have experienced their incredible brunch offering as well.

Herbe Sainte recently hosted our private event, the holiday party for RFG Logistics, and it was a night to remember. From the moment the guests arrived, they were greeted with a warm and festive atmosphere that perfectly set the tone for the evening.

The service at Herbe Sainte was nothing short of impeccable. The staff was attentive, friendly, and professional, ensuring that every guest felt welcomed and well taken care of throughout the night. They were quick to address any needs or requests, adding to the seamless experience of the event.

A standout feature of the night was the bar service. The bartenders were skilled and personable, crafting a wide array of drinks that catered to all preferences, but especially the signature drinks, Oncle Julian Milk Punch and the Who 'Dat Punch. Each beverage was expertly mixed, adding a sophisticated touch to the party. The bar staff was fantastic and deserves huge credit . As for the food, it was a highlight of the evening. Herbe Sainte's culinary team outdid themselves, presenting a spread that was incredibly delicious, from the oysters to the charcuterie, the jambalaya, mac & cheese, and a short rib to die for. Guests raved about the dishes. And the desserts were a delightful end to the culinary journey.

Overall, Herbe Sainte played a pivotal role in making the RFG Logistics holiday party a fantastic event. Their dedication to excellence in service and cuisine created an unforgettable experience for everyone who attended. It's safe to say that Herbe Sainte is more than capable of hosting high-profile events with grace and...

You've got to stop here!!! I've passed by this place a handful of times and always thought I should stop there one day. Well Saturday night after work, my husband surprised me and took me out. First stop was Spirit World bc they have fancy cocktails....after being thoroughly disappointed and literally thrown out at 11pm despite no hours posted anywhere, we walked into Herbe Sainte at 1120pm. Saw on the door closes at 12 so we weren't holding our breath for being treated well here either...boy were we in for a shocker! The bartender was very welcoming AND the kitchen was still open!!! We quickly ordered food and the drinks suggested by the bartender. Everything arrived by 1145 and was AMAZING! We were blown away by the quality and flavor filled food (bourban glazed chicken) and the smoothness and wonderful combination of the cocktails. We did not feel rushed or pressured to leave here which was wonderful, but we did our best (successfully) to be out at midnight! I don't remember the name of the bartender working, but he was extremely knowledgeable of his skill and had unbeatable customer service! This is a bit of a drive for us, 45min, but we are more than willing and cannot wait to come back and try something...
