Today (May 10), I had an online order placed to be picked up at 10:30 for a Mothers Day brunch at our house. I followed protocol and even had someone greet me upon arrival. After waiting for my pre-paid, pre-ordered food for going on 35 minutes, I finally had to call inside the store. It's like they forgot about it. Finally, after 45 minutes, we received our food. Some hot and ready, some lukewarm. I get that it was Mother's Day, and gave an extreme benefit of the doubt in that regard, but 45 minutes of waiting for a pre-paid and pre-selected time is ridiculous. If a store knows it's Mother's Day, wouldn't they prepare for that? If a store knows that employment is tight, or local people are reaching out to support the local economy, wouldn't they have enough staff to handle the needs of its patrons? It was a partially open dining area and three online-order waiting spots - really not that difficult....And the other two cars that waited in the online waiting area in their cars, for even a lesser amount of time than I did, left. I can't imagine just forfeiting money like that in a time when money is so tight for so many right now; our family included. We've always had great service at other Jimmy's Egg locations, that's why we chose it; but this has to be the worst ordering experience...
Read moreThe actual service was nice but something happened here that I thought was weird.
My husband and I came in monday morning 10/12/20. (We are a black and hispanic couple). There was a "wait to be seated" sign up so we waited to be seated. About a minute or so later... an older white woman came in and said to me," Excuse me dear".. and just walked right passed us and sat at a booth. The woman who was going to seat us looked at her and greeted her. The waitress apologized to us and said that woman probably didn't see us and that she was a regular....
My issue with this is the fact that regardless if the lady was a reguar or not... she is not privileged over my husband and I to cut in line. She should have waited to be seated especially because she arrived after we did.
Like I said the staff is nice... but to be fair to everyone... if there is a "Wait to be seated" sign put up... all customers should wait in line to be seated regardless of who is a regular or not.
My husband and I felt weird about it because WE are regulars too.. but at a different location.. and never ever has the staff let us cut the line for being a regular.
We just felt really...
Read moreWaited on pretty fast. It took a long time for our food. It was a Sunday about 9:15 am. When our food arrived it was just warm. Not fresh and hot. I didn't really care for the flavor much. Maybe because the temp threw me off? I don't know. The waitress came a couple times to check on us and poured us coffee as we waited for the food. When she saw I didn't eat my food she ended up discounting my ticket. That was very thoughtful. I didn't complain about the food because I didn't like the flavor and that is a personal preference not a reflection on the food in spite of it being just warm. My personal preference as well. I want my food to be hot so as I eat it stays at a nice temperature for a while. That's me. The bathroom was dirty. Needs to be kept up on for sure throughout the day and have it inspected for one an hour. Lots of people use the restroom and customers and staff deserve a clean environment. No auto response required. Just check the restroom regularly and keep up on it. And, btw, you have nice staff there....
