**IF YOU WANT A DETAILED DESCRIPTION OVER THIS PLACE, THIS REVIEW IS FOR YOU** I recently had the pleasure of indulging in an incredible Indian cuisine experience, and boy I’ve had some of the best top quality Indian cuisines out in San Jose! Every dish left me in absolute awe. From start to finish, it was a symphony of rich flavors, vibrant aromas, and perfectly balanced textures. First, let’s talk about the butter chicken. The chicken was tender and cooked to perfection. Every bite felt like a hug in food form, and the subtle spices gave it depth without overpowering the dish. The spice levels range from 1-6, BE CAREFUL, medium (3) and up can be pretty spicy but man is the flavor good! ❤️ The tikka masala was definitely my favorite (it’s always beeny favorite dish since I’ve had Indian), however finding a place that could replicate the flavor like the one I’ve had in San Jose has felt impossible, until I tried this place! The marinated chicken was also cooked to perfection, complementing the creamy, spiced sauce beautifully. Pairing these dishes with garlic naan was a stroke of genius! The naan was soft yet slightly crispy around the edges, with just the right amount of garlic to enhance the flavors without being overwhelming. It was the perfect vehicle to scoop up the sauces, ensuring not a drop was left behind. For drinks, we tried the mango lassi and the strawberry lassi—and both were divine in their own way. The mango lassi was thick, creamy, and bursting with the natural sweetness of ripe mangoes, while the strawberry lassi had a refreshing, fruity and sweet tang that balanced the richness of the meal. Both were the perfect way to cool down and cleanse the palate between bites. You can taste and tell that the element of the meal was crafted with care, and it was clear that the chef had an impeccable understanding of how to balance spices and flavors. The combination of buttery richness, tangy yogurt, and warm, aromatic spices made this dining experience unforgettable! If you’re a fan of Indian cuisine or looking to try it for the first time, I wholeheartedly recommend these dishes!!! This was, without a doubt, a five-star experience that I’ve been dreaming about to experiencing locally! Please don’t hesitate to try this place if you love Indian or have been wanting to give Indian a try!

This place is Yummy! And the service is attentive and compassionate. They certainly do a great job. I tried the tomato garlic soup on a whim, and was immediately swept away into the perfect bowl of sunshine! 10/10! For the main dish, I also tried the vegetable cilantro, dal makhani, garlic cheese Naan, and regular Naan. The medium spice level was perfect for my delicate tongue companion, but I like my food a little spicery so next time I will order it hot or extra hot. I like heat though.. I asked for something spicy and they brought a sauce that gave the food the heat I craved. Overall the food was flavorful and delicious. I look forward to coming back and trying some stuff I've never seen else where in omaha. This place definitely has my vote. Go there and tell your friends :)

My fiance and I are major lovers of Indian food! We have tried most of the Indian restaurants in Omaha, a handful of the ones in KCMO/KCK, and I’ve been to both locations of The Oven in Lincoln — I can confidently say that Karnali has the best naan I’ve tasted so far! It’s perfectly crispy without being burnt. Also not too thick/dough-y/soft. The lamb vindaloo had wonderfully complex flavors: sour, spicy, a hint of sweetness, garnished with green onions and cilantro. I ordered it at a 6 (Xtra hot). Next time, I might ask them to break the scale for me! I love spicy! My fiancé’s chicken tikka masala was so well-balanced, and the chicken was marinated and cooked to perfection. We are so satisfied and happy. We can’t wait to return!!!

My wife and I stopped here last night for an early dinner ahead of dropping her off at the airport. Start to finish... EXCELLENT. Greeted warmly at the door and sat in the beautiful space. Service was on point! Attentive but not hovering. Both guys that waited on us were so nice and concern if we liked everything. We probably ordered more food than we needed but not a problem as I had the leftovers for breakfast this morning.

We can only speak to the vegetarian options as both of as are long time vegetarians..

We had: Vegetable Samosas A+ Malai Kofta A++ Saag Paneer A++ Bread Basket (consists of Plain Naan, Cheese Nann, Garlic Nann) A+++ (How can it be both crispy and yet soft and velvety at the same time?)

We had medium spice on all and was great (not gringa spicy either). The Cheese Naan blew my mind frankly.

I HIGHLY recommend this restaurant. We are in Lincoln so 45 mins away, but we will be back and often.

Sadly, did not take pictures as we were to busy feeding our faces frankly. A BIG thank you to the owners.... Brilliant...

Absolutely Disgusted and Disappointed!

We went to this restaurant last night expecting Indian cuisine and let me tell you, calling this “Indian food” is the biggest lie and an insult to Indian culture and cuisine. Indian food is known across the world for its rich flavors, spices, and authenticity. What we got here was the complete opposite: bland, tasteless, and honestly inedible. We ordered their so-called vegetable curry, dal makhani, and cilantro veg curry and every single dish was a disaster. No flavor, no spice, no soul. Even the samosa, which is supposed to be a basic staple, was absolutely disgusting.

I don’t know where these positive reviews are coming from, but they seem totally fake. This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences we've ever had. Don’t waste your time, money, or taste buds here. This place should be shut down for falsely claiming to serve Indian food....
