I found a broken one” and proceeded to break off a cookie 🥺) and loved all of them! Read moreSuch a sad experience. again. The place is so dirty, I would love for the glass to be cleaned so one could actually see what's in the cold cases. The pastry we purchased was at least 1-2 days old - but was not labeled as such. We found out the hard way when we tried eating it at home. The female employee had dirty clothes on and displayed such poor attitude that, after a few attempts, we choose to no longer trying to engage her in a conversation. Read moreThis was a stop for us on the Nebraska Passport and I'm so glad we went in. The authenticity of their baked goods is amazing. You won't find a torte like this anywhere. The owner was very friendly and she spoke about the history and preparation of many of their breads and tortes. They also had several different samples of the Tortes available to try. If you purchase a loaf of bread they have an old bread slicer and they will slice the bread for you.
