Not even remotely impressed. The older guy cutting the meat acted like it was an inconvenience we wanted food. Ordered a 6” Italian and a 12” meatball. He puts two 6” pieces of bread on plates. I assumed he misheard and said oh sorry that 2nd sandwich was a 6”. He rudelys goes “yeah, I know that.” And pulls out a 3rd 6” bread. Then somehow that bread disappeared and the Italian turned into a 12”. Whatever I guess extra isn’t bad but he had an attitude and still got it wrong. Then, a second worker is adding toppings and suddenly goes “oh… there’s a hair.” Meat slicer guy comes over, picks off the hair, throws it away. Then thinks about it and just replaces the top bun with a new bun. Then goes back to slicing meat, with the same gloves he picked off the hair with. I wanted to ask for a new sandwich but honestly didn’t want to deal with his attitude. There was also no change of gloves after touching POS system, and workers putting on gloves in a way that they’re touching the whole outside of the glove with their bare hand. What’s even the point. Won’t be back. Edit to add that they took partially eaten soup from a customer back into the kitchen to microwave it because...
Read moreWent in and had disappointing experience. The sandwiches where so dry. Ordered the little king way two of them had so little oil on them we had to use mayonnaise packets that had been left over from a catered work lunch. Which is luck we had them. The club we ordered didn't have roast beef, or only had a single slice that was consumed before we noticed. Little King is $12+ for a sandwich so you have to be the better than dry. For a couple bucks more you can get really nice take out and the bonus for a minimal savings and drive through starts to nit matter. (Though THIS order I went inside today) Of three sandwiches only one had any "alterations" other than the standard Little King way, but I had to keep repeating my order. If it was because they couldn't hear me, or they just need clarity, I wouldn't think much of it, but it seemed to me that it was more because they where rushing and each employee was not listening to the other as you went down the line. It wouldn't be a thing I normally mentioned, but in lieu of the collective experience it is worth mentioning. I will say I was impressed with how clean...
Read moreFinally! A Little King opened nearby not too long ago. For just a few bucks more for a footlong sandwich (compared to a competitor) you get more bang for your buck! And the customer service is excellent, just like all the other Little King locations around town. You can get your sandwich made just the way you want it, or their sandwiches offered, which you can still modify. I go through the drive thru, which at this location, on the Cass St. side can be tricky when the traffic is heavy, you're better off using the Dodge St. entrance. I have never had Little King get my order incorrect, or skimp on any of the meat, cheese, toppings. For me, once this location was open, I was thrilled because I could stop going to their competitor (I don't know what was going on there, customer service not so great, skimp on the meat sometimes, toppings ect., long wait times...maybe staffing or not paying employees enough?). But support Little King! You'll be impressed. And fyi, you can add a tip, please do, they work hard, do a great job, and...
